Looks like this Kerby’s has been converted from an old Denny’s but the Coney Islands were amazing. They had a lot of chili on them a lot of onions. The buns were soft. We got Coney Islands downtown Detroit @ American Coney Island and they were awful barely a chili on them. Just no onions I mean, just a couple two or three pieces of onions, hard buns. The Greek salad there was half full in the box. Years ago when you got a carry out Greek salad, they filled it all the way to the top now they tell you all that that’s room for the dressings that’s just so they don’t have to put more salad in the box. The dressing is cheap. Here the Greek salad was OK.

I want to sincerely thank the owner and staff at Kerby’s Koney Island in Warren for their kindness and compassion. Recently, before I had to say goodbye to my dog Kerby, I stopped in and met the owner — such a genuinely nice guy — who kindly took a moment to let us capture something truly special.
That moment — a simple photo of me, my son, Kerby, and one of their wonderful waiters — has become one of my most treasured memories. It’s a reminder of kindness, community, and how the smallest gestures can mean the world to someone going through something difficult.
A little backstory: I actually named my dog Kerby because he’s part dachshund, and I thought it’d be funny and fitting to name him after a hot dog — and after the best Koney Island around. (And yes, before anyone asks, I know there’s a Kirby vacuum cleaner. He wasn’t named after that, though he did inhale snacks pretty fast. And no, not the little pink video game character either — his name is proudly spelled K-E-R-B-Y.)
Thank you, Kerby’s, for being part of that moment. I’ll never forget it.

I recently stopped by Kerby’s a couple days ago for another great meal. I have eaten at Kerby’s multiple times but forgot to write a review until now.
Their food is great and reasonably priced. Their service is also great and someone is always happy to help get you more coffee or answer your questions. I really like their Yeros and want to try their koney dogs eventually too.
I definitely plan to visit again and I highly recommend them.

The waitress was very friendly and attentive! The salad I had was amazing. Twist on the Greek salad by adding dill and the creamy Kerby dressing was outstanding. The gentleman who cashed me out could’ve been a little more pleasant lol I don’t think it’s his fault. I think he just has that resting face.
