The service and kindness we recieved during our brunch experience was above and beyond. Our waitress, Kiki, recommended the chicken and waffles but sub in the French Toast. It was amazing! We also ordered the salmon, capers, and scrambled egg toast which was great as well. Coffee was also on point. The service and staff were so friendly and kind. My husband, daughter, and I walked away thinking about how it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a while.

This place is awesome. Servers were great, cooks were fast …… and the food was spectacular!
The wife had the classic and my daughter and I had the french toast with fruit. We didnt even use the syrup with our meals, the powdered sugar combined with the fluffy butteriness of the french toast was all that was needed. The classic didnt dissappoint. Grits were buttery and she crushed her eggs!

Cute little place! Server was great, very friendly and super attentive. Coffee always was kept full! The crepes were delicious and I loved that the server recommended adding bacon to the French toast, it was so sweet I needed the salty bacon to break it up. My only complaint was the French toast was huge, a smaller size served with something to break up the sweet would have been better.

11/12/25 – French Toast never disappoints. Every time I visit, I’m reminded why this is one of my favorite spots in the city.
My server this time — a younger Black woman with a great personality — was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and her menu recommendations were spot on. The hostess was also a true ray of sunshine. She remembered me from a visit a year or two ago, and that warm welcome instantly made me feel right at home. Little moments like that mean so much.
The food is PHENOMENAL, as always. Consistent, flavorful, and exactly the kind of comfort you expect when you think of New Orleans brunch done right.
One thing I really appreciated on this visit: the bathroom was clean and well-kept, and the walkway leading to it smelled lovely. It was such a pleasant, unexpected touch that added to the overall experience.
If you want a quick bite, a relaxing atmosphere, and a genuine taste of home and Southern hospitality while you’re in New Orleans, French Toast is the place. Highly recommend.

So happy we stumbled on this spot. We even came back a second time on our 3-day weekend visit. First time I got a savory crepe with potatoes..so good. I was genuinely sad when I got too full to finish. Second visit we shared a french toast. Will definitely be back when we visit nola again

This breakfast restaurant is a gem! They offer a great variety of options, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The French toast was fluffy, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced with sweetness. The chicken and waffles were another highlight—the chicken had an amazing crunch with tons of flavor, and the spicy butter that came with it was fantastic. The waffles themselves were light and tasty, making the whole dish come together perfectly. To top it off, the mimosa was fresh, flavorful, and poured just right. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch!

If you only have one breakfast while visiting the French Quarter, this should be it! Our server Angel did a great job. The French Toast with fruit was unlike any I’d ever eaten. My daughter had the omelet with ratatouille. I look forward to exploring the menu on subsequent trips to the quarter.

The service was great here. From the host to the waitress, Angel. Omelette was hot and fresh, as were the grits. So good. I came here randomly and I’m surprised I hadn’t seen it mentioned on Tik Tok because it was that good. Definitely someplace I’ll look forward to coming back to. Plus the prices were good, especially being right next to the French market.
