We saw the super long line as we were driving by from out of state and decided to stop and give it a try. WOW!!!! There is a reason the line is so long. ( Ps it moves very quick ) 10/10 recommend their fried chicken.

Literally just got off a flight from Detroit and came to this Southern Classics. Got a lil 10 piece special dark. Ok The service was good, the girls in the back window were really polite but I took a star away from service because I forgot to order peppers and the girl at the front window said I had to drive back thru drive thru or got to the standing window. Now baby the food! Everything was the freshest I’ve ever had the rolls were super soft and just fresh! The fries were seasoned and fried to perfection, fresh and crispy! Baby the fruit punch was so fresh they must of just cleaned the drink machine and put a fresh pack of fruit punch in that mug! Last but not least the chicken was hot, fresh, and crunchy, could have used a tad bit more seasoning but it was delicious! 10/10!

Great fried chicken spot! The flavor is absolutely on point – crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. Customer service was fantastic – friendly and attentive. Definitely the best local place worth a visit if you’re craving some top-notch chicken. Only reason for 4 stars is that the sides could use a little more green variety (maybe fried oakra, or collard greens or maybe some green beans), but overall a great experience!

If you choose to eat here you’ll have some of the best fried chicken on earth. The drive through may be long at times and it’s only because of the popularity of the your brand and the deliciousness of the food. In my neighborhood and community we often joke and refer to “Southern Classic Chicken” as “CRACK CHICKEN” because it’s addictive and you will want it every day

My first time here and I’ve got to say now I understand why the line of cars is sometimes WELL into the street! I had a 2+2 dark with red beans and rice and sweet corn grits. The chicken was hot, juicy and flavorful. The coating was flaky and golden brown The red beans and rice were really good and the corn grits were super smooth, almost like someone thought about making pudding but changed their mind – great texture! The reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is because the roll wasn’t buttered and I didn’t get any butter or honey as condiments with the meal. Maybe that’s on me, but I HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely be back when I come through again!
