My mom and I were looking for a new place to try for a little afternoon celebration meal. Thinking Gino’s sounded nice, we headed over at about 3:30 on a Tues.
When we got there, it was pretty dead, only 1 other table was seated in the large space, and 1 person at the bar, who may have been another employee?
We were seated by the person who would play, host, server and who we believe was the bartender. A slim, young guy with glasses and on the receipt it said the name, “Jimmy”. It didn’t seem unusual, as we went in during a slow time.
He brought water and stale bread over. It took him a while, to the point where I started to get up and look for him before he came over to take our order for apps and meals. We ordered Calamari, my mom got the Minestrone “soup” and I ordered a shrimp and pasta dish. While the Calamari came out in a normal amount of time, the rest of our food took a painfully long time. During this time, several other tables were seated, right next to us. These tables were given another server, warm bread and were periodically checked on, refills, how are you doings, etc. We were never checked on, with no refills, no offer of warm bread. One of these tables received their food before us.

The food itself * Cold, uninspired!
My mom’s “soup” contained little to no liquid. (She’s sick, not contagious. Just a personal illness) and she has a hard time eating, but liquids sit well with her. And when she received her food, she said, “Do you have some parm cheese for this. I laughed and said mom, it’s soup,” and she said, “No, this is pasta, so some cheese would be nice.” My plate was overly greasy and contained more liquid than my mom’s “soup”. The shrimp was rubbery and overcooked. My mom barely touched her food, and I didn’t finish mine.
At the end of the whole event, I ended up having to track down “Jimmy” who was standing around, talking to someone , for our check and then track him down again, to pay.
What a huge disappointment

Being new in the area we met another couple here for dinner. They eat here on a regular basis and felt we would enjoy it. We very much did and found the food to be very good, an imaginative menu and a good wine list. I had the smoked boar hock and it was outstanding. My wife had the seafood fettuccine and she really enjoyed it. The other couple had a calamari salad and fettuccine Bolognese. All of the meals were fantastic. The service was both efficient and friendly.

Great place for a nice dinner date or family sit-down. Oil/garlic mix and pillow soft bread was a perfect start to our meal. The juicy stuffed mushrooms were definitely the star of the show and most delicious menu item we ordered. Pesto gnocchi and pancetta pasta were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Disappointed that a few of our top dessert choices were sold out but the ones we ordered were still divine. Definitely try to snag a table at this spot.

This was a great little Italian place! the atmosphere was amazing and the wait staff was super helpful. A huge plus is they have gluten free noodles. I took away a start because the food did take a little longer than normal to come out. I’m not sure if that was because of the gluten free noodles or not. However, when you food came out it was amazing. I have the Italian sandwich and my wife had Alfredo with the gluten free noodles. Let me tell you from experience that gluten free noodles can be a bit challenging at time to get the right texture and preventing them from clumping together. They got it perfect! My wife has informed me that it is her new favorite for gluten free pasta and we will for sure be coming back!

Make sure you have a reservation, this place is busy! Went to Gino’s for my birthday. Showed up a little early for our reservation. We wound up getting seated in the bar area early. Our server Garrett was pleasant and helpful, so we decided to keep our table near the bar, seemed quieter there anyway. We ordered an appetizer, a tamato and bruchetta dish….which was amazing, a dinner salad and entrees. The salad was fresh and tasty. I ordered veal and peppers and my better half ordered baked zitti. Service was a bit slow, but it was a full house. We ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list and settled in. Our food showed up hot and delicious. The sauce on her zitti was fantastic, and my veal and gnocchi dish was great as well. Service was really good here , even though they were slammed. We’ve put Gino’s on our list of places to go back to. We can’t wait to try more of the menu.

The food here is pretty good. Our waitress was awesome and checked on us regularly. When I rate places, I try to rate the overall experience and understand that there will be both good and maybe not-so-good things about a place. The atmosphere was interesting for an Italian place. Someone was really into paper lanterns, and what looked like an ’80’s motif on the tables. However, it was clean and the music was nice. Everything we ordered was good, the bruschetta, chicken parmesan, shrimp dish, and it was my first cannoli. My husband and I felt that some of the dishes had too many competing flavors. For instance, the cannoli had chocolate syrup, creamy sweetened ricotta cheese, chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk I think, as part of the drizzle on top, but then orange zest of all things. The chocolate and orange flavors were both strongly competing for attention. Some of the crispy things were a little over-crispy. We enjoyed the experience, but at the end, we felt it was a little over-priced for the quality. I probably will not go back as we have other restaurants that have a better quality to price ratio. But that’s me! We don’t drink, so I can’t comment on wine or mixed drink quality. It was almost $80 for the two of us (total includes tip), which is a little high for me if I don’t find the food to-die-for. We had an appetizer, two entrees, and a shared dessert. We only drank water.

Food was great but service was below par. Took forever to get our food had to ask multiple times for a dessert menu. And not a fan of gratuity tips there was only 7 of us on a 300 tab and dont like my hand being forced.

Amazing food! We enjoyed everything we ordered. I overheard everyone talking about how good the food was. If you have time to wait took a while for food to come out otherwise 5 stars.
