You can find all kinds of local and area inspired treats, foods, drinks, and condiments here. They have wonderful, fudges and candies, sweet and savory pies, juices, jams, wine and mead, honey, hot sauces and salsa, cold drinks, coffee, and some of the best cookies around. My go-tos are absolutely the bison, pot pie, and shareable size snickerdoodle which I eat all myself. And when I stopped in today, I learned you can actually get the pies warm and ready to eat. Bailey and Gabby were super helpful, even making sure I received a veterans discount after needing to check my ID for a bottle of mead. I’m really glad this place is here. I drive back-and-forth between Boulder and Estes Park once a week and it always feel I’m missing out if I don’t stop.

Stopped here on a Sunday, and honestly, I’m mad at myself for discovering this place so late! I’ve passed by this shop multiple times on my way to RMNP, always assuming it was just another touristy pie stop. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Wow. Just wow. This is hands down one of the best pie shops I’ve ever tried.

The shop was packed with customers, which now makes complete sense. There’s plenty of parking and lots of dining space, so even with the crowd, it didn’t feel overwhelming. The service was excellent—friendly and efficient. A lot of people were picking up already made pies to take home, which says a lot about how popular this place is.

I tried the apple pocket pie, green chili pork pocket pie and coffee. The sweetness level was perfect, and the apple filling was just right. For the first time ever, I finished one pie and another in a single sitting!

The savory green chili pork pocket pie was served hot, and the pork filling was amazing—flavorful and comforting.

A late find, but definitely a favorite now. Can’t wait to come back and try all their pies!

Not to be corny, but it was a cherry experience at the Colorado Cherry Company. The bison pot pie and cherry berry pie were both incredible —fresh, flavorful, and totally worth the stop. We were told they were out of chicken and bison pot pies when we ordered, but the staff made fresh ones for us right away, and the wait (about 15–20 minutes) was no problem at all. I also tried the bison chili which was very good as well.

I also loved that we could sample their juices, which made it easy to pick our favorites to take home. They have a huge selection to choose from, and everything feels homemade and high quality. If you’ve been thinking about going, I definitely recommend it!

This place is charmingly done up around its theme – cherry cutouts, cherry curtains, cherries everywhere ( sadly not fresh ones). It’s whimsical, cheerful, and honestly, I was ready to give it a full five stars. Then came the grocery section. We had bought a pack of chocolate covered cherries, and wanted to explore some more. That section had cider, honey, hand towels, the usual rustic stuff. It was just the two of us browsing when a staff member suddenly appeared. Pretending to scroll on his phone, rearrange crates, anything really–but it was obvious he was keeping an eye on us, as though we might pilfer something. I have NEVER had an experience like this before. I truly hope this isn’t how other visitors are treated. Perhaps I looked exhausted after a long day in the Rockies and gave off the wrong impression–but whatever the reason, it left a distinctly bad taste in the mouth (and not of cherries). The other members of the staff were nice.

Delicious pies, ciders, and more. A great place to buy gifts as well. They have jellies, jams, chocolate, honey, candy, and souvenirs. On a cold day, it’s nice to dine in, have a hot pie, and a hot cider. We had the chicken pot pie and cherry cider. It can get busy and packed at peak times; they may be out of certain menu items even one hour before closing, so plan to stop by earlier.

This place is amazing, their pie’s are delicious and they serve hot pies. The other locations have them frozen and you bake them at home. I’m not a pie fan but this ones are amazing, hot or the fruits. Try the bison pie and the bison chilli soup and you would fall in love. Very friendly staff. It would be amazing if the other facilities have hot food and dine in area like the Lyons facility. Highly recommended

Colorado Cherry Company is a fantastic stop with so many delicious food and drink options. The pies are an absolute must-try—rich, flavorful, and baked to perfection. The ice cream was also delicious, making it a great treat to enjoy on the spot.

In addition to the sweets, they do have hot food available for purchase, which makes it more than just a dessert stop. I especially enjoyed the old-fashioned black cherry soda—it was refreshing and full of flavor.

If you’re passing through Lyons, this place is definitely worth a visit!

We visited here Friday, August 29.
1. The shop looks classic with a great feel to it.
2. We LOVED the cherry ice cream, with big chunks of cherries! I had this again at their store in Estes Park the same day, and the next day, it was so good.
3. We bought some cherry juice and it was like wine, amazing.
4. For the pie, they use bing cherries, the bright red ones, which I don’t like as much. The ice cream and juice are what you want here.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but based on reviews we tried the bison pot pie. It was very tasty and a decent amount of meat. I’m not big on crust but this was very good crust. We also tried the mixed berry pie and the apple caramel. Both were absolutely delicious. Wish you could get them hot though. Would be insane
