Highly recommend this place for great authentic Italian food.
What made this experience worse was the complete lack of professionalism and empathy from management. I explained to the manager that the order was small and for a family who had just lost a loved one days before Christmas. Their response was that they “didn’t care why” and they would not make any exception.
Good businesses and good people understand that take-out is not optional. This restaurant is neither. It’s a core part of the service. Good managers also understand that how you treat people matters. This place failed on both counts.
Poor service, poor management, and zero compassion. I will not be returning, and I hope others will take their business elsewhere as well!!
Management needs to seriously reevaluate their staff and their responsibility to the public if they intend to operate as a public restaurant. This showed a clear lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic customer service.
We will be sharing this experience and encouraging others to take their business elsewhere.
We got the Family to-go deal #1. Penne a la vodka, Caesar salad and bread. We added the meatball app, calamari fritti, and bocconcini. My wife had to run in a pick up the food because i currently have a bum foot, but they offered to help walk out our order to the car. All these little things add up to why they’ve been around since the early 70’s (if i read correctly).
Everything was absolutely amazing. I can’t wait till me and the wife can have a proper date night and sit for a meal. Thank you for making this family so happy.
When Jack and I first got to Frank Guido’s Little Italy, we were happy to sit and chat with Frank Guido!!! Always love the stories he has and how he tells them!
There were 8 of us for dinner and we all had a fantastic time. Drinks, wine, dinner, dessert, conversation, laughs and service…. all so wonderful!
Thank you Cathie, Terri and Crystal for taking such good care of us… as always!
