ORIGINAL: This place was gorgeous, had great live music and in a wonderful location. Allison was super helpful getting my reservation pushed back. Service the remaining of the night killed the excitement I originally had for this place. This was a business meeting with a popular influencer to discuss my company and could have been a great opportunity for the restaurant but it flopped. Once seated we waited over 25 minutes before we got our water glasses filled. Another 20 before we put in drink orders.
we ordered a dozen oysters, four claws and a crab cake. The oysters are great, but the crab were a lot more advertising on Instagram.The tower came before our drinks. When the drinks came we just put in a second order at the same time in case it took long. I think what frustrated me the most was as I got finished with the tower and ready to dive into my entrée, I was wiping my hands on my cloth in my lap and our waiter said “hold on let me go get you a hot towel.” The hot towel never came and I could no longer wait to dive into my entrée. I got the lamb chops and my associate got and my associate got a steak with a lobster tail. even for water refills are cups are empty for a while although there were multiple people moving around us. Joshua (not our waiter) was super helpful and took an earful from me that he did not have to as it was not his fault. I just was very disappointed because once I was ready for a box, my bill was the quickest thing I received the entire night. I didn’t complain just paid the tab upwards Of $500 and left.
the appetizers were amazing, especially the calamari, which was a total chef’s kiss. the lobster bisque was delicious, and the cake was absolutely incredible.
they have a good variety of wines, but unfortunately they do not offer wine tastings like some other restaurants do:(
unfortunately, the broiled salmon was the weakest dish of the night. while it was cooked perfectly in terms of texture, it had zero seasoning and was extremely BLAND, honestly tasted like plain salmon with nothing done to it. the mashed potatoes were just okay, and i only ate about half before wanting to move on.
even with that, the outstanding service and great appetizers really stood out and made the night memorable. i’ll definitely come back again for the amazing service and calamari!
The restaurant’s waterfront view adds a beautiful touch to the overall experience, making it feel extra special. Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely incredible. The prime meatball appetizer is next level — melt-in-your-mouth delicious and packed with flavor. I’ll be ordering them every time I visit.
Our entrées (a chicken and salmon dish) were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Next visit, I’m definitely trying the steak — I’ve heard nothing but great things. And don’t skip dessert: the chocolate malt cake was divine — a true chef’s kiss to end the meal. I can’t wait to come back!
