Social Profile:

Dhamaka a explosion of flavours bringing in the vibrancy of India, the street food of India which has been savoured by decades by Indians. Enjoy the street food and the authentic regional cuisines of India in a cool modern restaurant. Our culinary team is headed by extremely talented by Jyotirmoy Patra a Michellin trained chef bringing his expertise. Enjoy various street food dishes over our lovely crafted cocktails. Our carefully designed menu caters to various food habits with special emphasis on Vegans a growing cult by the day. With Bristol being the green capital of Europe we have ensured we did our bit to support this cause. A greater emphasis is laid on locally sourced fresh ingredients, which we try to incorporate in cooking.

Buzzing, late-night eatery serving Indian comfort eats, beer & cocktails in colourful quarters.

I came here with my good friend Pushpendra and we both had an amazing experience. The food was full of flavour fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. It was a great moment for both of us and we really enjoyed the time and the food. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place. Respect and blessings

Stopped by for a quick dinner. I am glad I chose the authentic one. The spot didn’t disappoint. The Manchurian and Hyderabad Briyani were perfect. I actually just learnt what makes it different from others. Great tastes and generous portions, definitely worth to spend.

the first thing I love the India map showed in menu cover, creative touch. Highlights the culture.

My husband and I arrived in Bristol around noon and were looking forward to a good Indian meal. We chose this restaurant because of its good ratings. We ordered biryanis, but unfortunately, they were disappointing — the rice was quite dry and the flavour was not as good as expected. We had high hopes, but the taste did not live up to the reviews. We hope the restaurant can improve on this dish, as the place has potential.

The chicken bottomless thali is good..available 12 to 4:30 pm from Wednesday to Sunday.

There is strange rule even a child can’t share this bottomless thali…which is a bit strange but I get the logic..

The male waiter (I forgot to ask his name) is quite helpful and must appreciate the number of questions we had..

The 3 small plates for 14.99 is good for the price…

hari mirch tikka (part of 3 small plates )– didn’t like it..

The tandoori panner tikka ans Punjabi samosa is good..

Thali is quite good for the price…have had 25 GBP thali in Kal dosa which is not bottomless is quite similar to me in taste..but straight 10 GBP less..

The child rule should be relaxed may be with additional 3-4 GBP… That would pull even more crowd…

Genuine Indian food. Mild, spiced, hot, the staff guided us safely thru the menu. They cater for gluten free, vegan etc and even have dishes without milk derived products too. Tastes are genuine and reminded me of my mum’s cooking. The starters and mains are generously sized and choosing lots of different dishes and sharing is the best plan!

My favourite curry house in Bristol! Trust me when I say…the korma is out of this world! Usually a bland/flavourless/boring dish…not this one! Full of flavour and tang, everyone who has tried a bite of mine has loved it

Super friendly staff and lovely decor

We eat in and get home deliveries – haven’t noticed a reduction in quality with home delivered dishes so far!

What a place!! The atmosphere is buzzing, the food is beyond delicious and the service is friendly and efficient.
We stopped by on a busy Saturday evening, we were offer a table by the window. The food took no time at all to arrive after ordering. Honest was so so good. Not a bad thing from any the four of us.
Well done. I/we will be back. Really good value as well.
