Must visit Italian restaurant! The food at Nicola’s is unmatched, fresh and flavorful. We had a reservation at 7:30pm and did not have to wait long for our table. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Our food came out fast and hot. The food is made from scratch and exceptionally flavorful. Unfortunately they were out of a few items of seafood, but we still had an amazing meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back. I plan to make it a regular place to dine. Do not miss out on an authentic and delicious meal. Make reservations as this is a highly desirable restaurant.

Fantastic meal at Nicola’s Italian Kitchen: 4343 S Access Rd Englewood. I had Conchiglie Ripiene (Stuffed Shells) w/Sugo sauce and husband had Chicken Parmigiana. The bread is wonderful, service was great. Included salad was just right, shared some added meatballs (delish) but missed the photos.

Food tastes amazing, I’m wondering if everything was picked fresh from a garden. All the staff was very helpful and extremely happy i could tell they love their jobs. Management walked around and checked on table after table to ensure expectations were met, and I’m telling you they blew me away with the quality. Highly recommend.

Ordered take out here tonite, never again. Over 90 minutes, which is completely fine if you tell me its 90 minutes from the get go. I The poor woman doing the take out was by herself while the receptionist (and another woman who may be the owner?) was just sitting there. Every single person who ordered take out was frustrated, I waited for nearly 45 minutes at the restaurant waiting for a pizza and chicken parm. The pizza was cold and the chicken parm was piping hot…That said the chicken parm was good, the pizza, ok its Florida, was pretty decent. I felt bad for the take out person, she seemed overwhelmed and unsupported. I would never come here again, but I am not a local. Seems to be popular, definitely don’t ever order take out here on Sat night. The owner should not operate take out on Saturday night because it was the single worst experience I have had with takeout. Coming from NY, our pizza places do way more volume and can handle it, it was clear this place was not prepared. Dine at the restaurant, the food is good. My understanding is this place has been around a long time, so surprised they don’t have the know how to handle take out operations.

Update: my boyfriend got food poisoning from the gnocchi Alfredo. It was the only thing he consumed that I did not and it happened within an hour and a half of leaving the restaurant. It quite literally couldn’t have been anything other than what he ate. Please be mindful of expiration dates and follow food safety guidelines. I work in restaurants myself and I do believe things like this happen however I am taking a star because of that. I however enjoyed my chicken parm and didn’t get food poisoning

Got an order of fettuccini Alfredo with chicken portion seemed a little light for $8 upcharge but was very good, chicken parmigiana sub was good as well, the only negative was a hair in the salad

Had a 6:30 PM reservation for 4 people. Waited for over an hour to get a table – we sat about 8. The restaurant turned away a large number of customers and others with reservations left without dining because of the very long delay.. The food was mediocre. The Eggplant Parmesan was so thin as to be almost non-existent. The restaurant was out of garlic knots and substituted dry sliced bread. Also out of tiramisu. Overall not a pleasant experience on a cold evening with the restaurant entrance jammed with people also with delayed reservations.

Wildly popular, so it would have been a long wait for a walk-in table as we didn’t have a reservation. They kindly sat us at the bar after a 20-minute wait. The food and service were great!

We didn’t realize they were booked for seating after showing up 10 minutes before they opened (our mistake). Fortunately our party of 4 was able to dine at the bar. The hospitality and food was exceptional! The next time we will have reservations.

First time back after long closure. You need a reservation. Nice atmosphere. Exceptional huge portion veal parmesan, cut it with a fork. Garlic knots not nearly as good as I remember.
