I have been wanting to try this place for a few months and it did not disappoint. Vibe was playful including three video game machines. The food was great and tasted homemade. The milkshake was delicious and very festive. Prices were reasonable for downtown Naperville. A full bar was well stocked and you could add a shot to your milkshake if you’re in the mode. A good place for a family or a date night. Worth a visit!

My first time at JoJo’s was a great experience! Our server was very on top of everything considering it was Valentine’s Day and they were very busy! The food was good, not the most amazing I’ve ever had but I would go again. We got a birthday cake shake which was amazing! We will definitely be back to try more milkshakes!

So food wise I tried the Windy City smash burger, Hot Honey Fried Chicken, Tomato Bisque with grill cheese sandwiches. Jojos loaded fries, tower of onion rings, and waffle fries. Had the flight of Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Nirvana Oreo Shake, and the Golden digger. So the Windy City Burger taste great. Cooked correctly and it almost tasted like a Big Mac sauce with just a little bit more sweet. Tower of Onion Rings were overcooked. The flights of Hot Chocolate was fun and for the most part had taste but the look was great. Now the shakes and what they come with our probably the reason why I would come back. Had tons of shakes from original to new. Taste was great and the shakes were big. Place has bathroom and a seating area upstairs which they call the tree house. Decorated very well with Christmas spirit all over. I wished the small games controls would work which is another reason it was fun. No go on the Hot Honey Chicken for me to bland and just not hot at all. The server gave us a decent suggestion but she did say there definitely known for there Shake and hot chocolates.

We stopped by JoJo’s Shake Bar in downtown Naperville after dinner because clearly dessert is a separate stomach and ours were empty. The shakes here are no joke—towering creations piled with whipped cream, toppings, and enough sugar to make you question your life choices. Ours were delicious, fun, and definitely a step above your average milkshake. At around $14 each, they’re more of a splurge than a quick treat, but honestly, you’re paying for both the shake and the whole experience that comes with it.

The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, quick, and most importantly, very attentive to our son’s nut allergies. As parents, that level of care really makes the difference. Huge props for that.

While we waited, our kids discovered the little arcade corner and instantly disappeared into retro-gaming land. They tag-teamed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and went head-to-head in NBA Jam (“He’s on fire!” made me feel like I was 12 again). I think there were a couple more games too, but nostalgia had me distracted.

Between the shakes, the vibes, and the old-school arcade fun, JoJo’s definitely delivers. Four stars because while the shakes were good, the mountain of whipped cream on top stole the spotlight a little too much for our taste.

We went there for the first time today my husband and daughter. I ordered the vegan burger and waffle fries which was so good. My husband had a burger he enjoyed and daughter chicken tenders. We also got onion rings. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and hubby a shake. All of it was good a little pricey, but I will definitely be back. Fun atmosphere and nice server too!

I’m writing this review based on our visit on a Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. We did not have a reservation, but we were told that if there were available tables, they would do their best to accommodate us.

My friend arrived around 3:00 p.m. and was seated at the bar with her 9-year-old daughter. The staff said it was okay for them to sit there. I later arrived with my 2-year-old daughter, and since we didn’t have a reservation, we were also seated at the bar. However, there were several empty tables, so we asked again if we could be seated at a table to be more comfortable with our children.

The busboy actually offered to seat us at the empty table, but the manager said no twice explaining that the table was going to be occupied. We stayed for over two hours eating, drinking, and talking, and those tables remained empty the entire time. In fact, the table we asked for stayed empty for about 3–4 hours, until around 7:00 p.m., when someone finally sat there.

I’m not sure what the policies or rules are at this place, but the situation felt rude and frustrating. Sitting at the bar with small children was uncomfortable, and no one ever offered to move us to a table, even though we were clearly waiting and the tables stayed empty for hours. I truly hope this experience was not related to discrimination based on our nationality, but the way the situation was handled made us feel unwelcome.

This was a super cute place. The shakes were fabulous! Delicious AND pretty. I would say the food is quite pricey. The JoJo fries were a handful of waffle fries with shredded cheese (that wasn’t fully melted) for $14. Although, they were good, I feel the quantity/quality for the price could be better. Our server was super nice!

I purchased a St Patrick’s day charm bracelet making package, advertised as such on Facebook! When I arrived greeting was pleasant and my party was seated in the tree house room. Cool atmosphere however there was not a single St Patrick’s day decoration for the advertised party theme! In a instagram era you have to have photo props! (I am helping your business that’s why people come) unfortunately that wasn’t the only let down when it came to making the bracelet there wasn’t a single St Patrick’s day charm to choose!!! Very disappointed! I felt like I was bamboozled to get in the restaurant!

Our server was amazing and that is why I am giving 2 stars and not one!

Absolutely Loved It!

JoJo Shake Bar in Naperville is a total vibe! From the moment we walked in, the retro-modern decor and fun atmosphere set the tone for a great time. The shakes are next-level — massive, over-the-top, and ridiculously delicious. We tried the “Shake” and it was a full-on dessert experience, not just a drink. The food was also surprisingly good — the truffle fries were perfect to share.

Service was friendly, upbeat, and fast. It’s definitely a place that both kids and adults will enjoy. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick treat or a fun night out, JoJo’s delivers on every front. Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth or just looking for something Instagram-worthy in downtown Naperville!
