I had the chance to dine at Albasha while in Baton Rouge, and overall, it was a delightful experience. I tried the Albasha platter which included the grape leaf wrap which was just okay for me—perhaps a bit dry and lacking in flavor inside—but the rest of the meal certainly made up for it. The hummus was delicious, the salad was fresh with an excellent dressing, and the tzatziki sauce was right on point.
The lamb kebabs, were cooked to perfection, and the Kibbi something I hadn’t tried before—was unique and tasty with a crisp outer shell and a delicious meat filling. Albasha really stood out with items on the menu that I hadn’t seen at other Greek and Lebanese restaurants, making it definitely a one of a kind spot!

Love love love the Chicken Swarma salad here, they give you the crispy pieces if requested. Took away the pine nuts in the Lebanese tea . But still my fav spot for Greek and Lebanese dishes.

It seems like they have changed the recipe on a few of their items. It’s edible but not to the quality or level it used to be. The last two times I have eaten here, my salad was soaked in oil to the point the lettuce is soggy. The Mediterranean Hummus is not even remotely as good as it used to be and no longer has the fresh ingredients it previously had and now contains what appears to be a canned tapenade, and again way too much oil.

Probably the best Mediterranean restaurant in all of Baton rouge. I very enjoyed my food and experience here. Service was awesome and food was delicious with a decent price to match.

Place is 100% halal even though the serve alcohol.
Please note : If you put one bill of 60$ or more then they put 18% gratuity tip by default. Which was surprising for us since we never came across such a thing.

Great location with walking distance to several hotels, and the food ad superb! There were only two ladies working tonight, but the service was prompt and courteous. I will ill definitely come back again when I am back in town

Usually this location hits the mark, but today it didn’t. We came at the tail end of their lunch service around 2:15 and our server was a girl with some heavy side part bangs. The gyro was unusually salty and the meat wasn’t the right color, as if it wasn’t roasted long enough. Our server never once offered refills on our water nor did she take a single dirty plate from our table. Our table was crowded with dirty dishes, and we ended up having to ask her for more water when she brought the check. The service from this girl was a major disappointment. I usually favor this location, but I think the best time to go is probably when they open or on Friday’s at the peak of lunchtime.

Best place to get lunch near campus. So much food for a good price. I can always count on it to hit. I don’t think i could get sick of the combo plate even if i ate it everyday.
