Great burgers and fresh fries. They have curly and regular to choose from, it’s hard to pick and stick to one. They are so good. Food is always hot. Never seems just warmed with the hot light.

I have to give a 5-star review, and let me explain why. My girl and I were looking for something different, something other than Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Panda Express, or wings again. So I thought, why don’t we try Hardee’s? We have tried it at night as well as during the daytime. The quality was just as good both times. Both meals were fresh. The first was a double bacon cheeseburger, and she had the chicken tenders, both combos. Priced together with a $5 off coupon, it was only $20 for two large combos, which is very reasonable. The curly fries were also fresh and tasted great. It’s much better than McDonald’s as well as Arby’s in terms of quality, taste, and price. I do wish we had more locations, but one is better than none. Also, the employees were very nice and respectful and even said “Have a nice night” or “day,” and sometimes you don’t get that in a drive-thru, so it’s nice to see. They also have multiple non-pop options to drink; my favorite is the orange Hi-C, and they also have Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, which is awesome.

My first time visit to this Hardee’s about 2 weeks ago for breakfast and I’ve been going to this Hardee’s every morning since. The front counter very friendly managers are very nice and kind I must say this is a very clean restaurant. I used to go to this place EVERYDAY before heading into work. Up until 12/6/25. I stopped and got my regular mushroom swiss burger and upon receiving it, there was a SMASHED bug on the inside of my wrapper. I take the burger into the establishment and show the one kind lady. She was equally disgusted and grabbed her manager Paul. Paul came over and looked at the wrapper and responded with “We don’t have flies here. So what do you want? You want your money back? You want a new burger?” He was dismissive, rude, and very unprofessional. Where else would have the bug come from!? It’s the middle of cold Michigan weather outside so there’s nothing surviving out there and the bug was INSIDE the wrapper. There was NO APOLOGY, no care to investigate what happened, no nothing! I’m not sure how he is still a manager there after 10+ years with that kind of poor leadership. I’ve managed for 15 years myself and there’s absolutely no way his response would have been allowed in any other work place!!! I attempted to reach out to Hardees Corporate but good luck finding anything online other than a survey that goes back to the restaurant and is never followed up on. Ive also reached out to the Health Department on the matter. Attached are photos for reference.

I wasn’t sure what to expect here because I haven’t eaten their food for a long time. I ordered a biggie bag for me and a mushroom n Swiss for my sister. The food ended up being very good and I was pleased with the help from the staff. If you haven’t had their food in years or ever I suggest giving them a try.

Went through drive thru on 9/14/25 about 1:30pm the Hardee’s on mound and 15mile the young guy that help was awesome so nice gave suggestions very refreshing to see a nice energetic sweet worker he deserves a tip and raise very helpful thank you sir! ☺ food was delicious I ordered fresco double burger, strawberry shake he suggested will order from here again! Also I haven’t been to a Hardee’s in over 15+ years so that also made the experience extra special…. Also, after going to other fast food restaurants, where employees act like they don’t even want to be there, bad attitudes, not energetic. It was a blessing to encounter a young man that actually cared about his job and the customers I will be back.☺

In California (my home state) it’s called Carl’s Jr. Famous for their famous star burger. It would be nice if Michigan do the same. Other than that I have no complaints.
Update 9/17/21:
I decided to stop by here again on my way home and they finally added the Famous Star and Superstar to their menu! ABOUT TIME! It was the only reason why I stopped coming BUT my buns were all soggy due to grease. Love the curly fries though. It did bring back a sense of nostalgia.

I went with my brother today because he bragged about how good his food was last time he went. That was clearly a one time thing because my burger definitely wasn’t charred like the one he had before or the ones I see in these photos. I’m not sure how they cooked them but they were not charbroiled or cooked on a flame at all. They had zero flavor. The fries just tasted old and drenched in salt. I couldn’t eat more than the first one.
I see how this place could be so empty with so much traffic driving by nonstop. They must know better lol. The mello yello was really good though!
If it’s one thing my family hates, it’s people who don’t care about embarrassing the entire brand. Follow the process given. Don’t just do whatever suits you that day. Don’t serve oven cooked or flat top burgers if the burgers are supposed to be charbroiled. They taste different and we are not stupid. Don’t lie to us and tell us something is made to order then hand us one bag before we can even get the next order placed. The first thing my brother said was “That was really fast, last time I waited for it to cook but it was so worth it”.
Well today it was fast which made perfect sense because it tasted like leftovers.
