Very cute spot, with homey vibes. The service was great and everyone there was so sweet. Our first time in Fredericton, we both enjoyed the lobster benny which was delicious and served by the owner herself! Very good home fries as well. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Good parking too.

My daughter and I had dinner here during our Christmas shopping trip! The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, the food was out of this world. The dipping sauce that came with the sweet potato fries – I could’ve eaten with a spoon – so delicious; and the sweet potato fries were done just right. Everything was amazing.

The lobster was quite dry and tasted like it had been frozen before cooking.
The brioche bun was not toasted and soft, and the pickles served with it were extremely sour.

Iced coffee was great and servers were nice tho.

my family and i came in from toronto for my sisters graduation, and we grabbed breakfast here. our server John was amazing! very nice, welcoming, and he was also very fast and efficient. he was very accommodating and understanding when it came to my sisters order, who has a few food restrictions. i ordered the lobster benedict and it was so delicious. my family got veggie omelets and loved their meals too. my sister got the mushroom benedict, with a few adjustments, also very tasty. the deep fried potatoes were seasoned perfectly. i would totally recommend here!

This place is to DIE FOR!
Our server with Vicky was absolutely stellar.
Drinks were incredible, food was so quick and super hot. One of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time.
Highly recommend the parm fries upgrade!
Definitely don’t pass this place.

Excellent food, solid portions, quick and friendly service. A good variety of seafood and classic breakfast options. The fish cake benny was to die for and the coffee is well above the diner standard. Well worth a stop for brunch!

Sadly, the lobster rolls were an expensive joke. We each had one and they were the same – 90% bun, 10% lobster. The lobster filling was literally two tablespoons lost in a sea of bun. Pretty poor for $30 each. Staff were lovely but food was not great at all. I hope they will read this and improve.

Do Not Judge a Book by it’s Cover! You will be put off by the shopping plaza it is in… yes it’s dumpy and a little seedy…resist.. Claudine’s is THE gem of Fredericton and consider yourself a lottery winner if you live within an hour. We came for lunch on a week day and if you are too, I strongly recommend taking their suggestion of a reservation. It was packed and we saw people pour in and subsequently disappointed. Once we took a bite, we tasted why. My husband got the seafood fettucine with lobster upgrade and I ordered the lobster benedict and they were both next level heavenly. All seafood used was at the peak of freshness and the flavors well balanced (referring to the pasta dish). It wasn’t inexpensive even after converting back to US dollars but it was worth every penny. I noticed a lot of people lingering without ordering more which I thought was rude but maybe it’s a cultural thing. Surprisingly, service was quick, the wait for entrees not bad considering how busy they were (lots of big parties) and the staff’s passion for what they do is palpable. It may not be in the center of everything but I think not being in the tourist trap area is the ticket, do not miss this epicurean delight if you are visiting Fredericton!

Worst experience ever at a Fredericton restaurant. Imagine its Valentine’s day. The restaurant is cold and 1/2 the clientele have their winter coats on. The wait staff told us that we must order from the set menu. When my husband asked if he could have a main from the secondary menu, they insist that he couldn’t. Then we noticed they allow every other person who came in afterward to choose from the second menu and add to the Valentine menu. They gave us the wrong drinks to start. We order prosecco and they bring box rose. The food arrived and the main course is cold, including frozen congealed mashed potatoes. We re trying to make the best of it. The desert, a cream brûlée is soup on the bottom. We pay and see they made a mistake charging us for an extra desert and 20 less for wine. We mention it. Instead of letting it go as any other restaurant would do, they ask if we have cash to make up the extra tip and wine. My husband had a 50. 00 dollar bill on him and they said that will do. That is 30 over the cost of the wine. I was so disgusted, I left. We will never go back. They just lost 2 clients. Forever.
