Wife and I went there for Valentine’s Day and weren’t aware that reservations were recommended. The wait time without a reservation was just too long to wait and decided to place a carry out. Jacob the Manager treated us so well and helped us with placing the order along with Morgan. We were first greeted by Jenna. Between the three of them you wouldn’t even know they had a full house. Fantastic service and food! Because of the experience we went again today with our grandkids(5 & 4). He introduced himself to them and shook their hand. They said he was really cool. Our Server Alesha was top notch and was going above and beyond to meet our needs. Kids loved that she talked to them. Will continue to keep supporting The Dorsey House!

We went in on Valentine’s Day with no reservation. We had had a bad experience at another restaurant and came here to the Dorsey house. We were greeted immediately by the hostess who was super friendly. Jake the manager heard our story and we were seated at the bar and treated wonderfully the entire evening. We had a great time great food, great bartender Edward who was friendly and attentive. Jake the manager, was absolutely stellar and his management of a very busy restaurant on a very busy night of the year was amazing to watch. A finely oiled machine. If you want an entire experience as well as great food, this is the place!

Kymberly W was awesome! She was very kind and super attentive! The food was AMAZING! I had the pork chops and my husband had a burger and we were both full after half our meal! It was a generous amount of food for the price! Everything was so delicious! And the service was very quick! Absolutely can’t recommend The Dorsey House enough! We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Our server was Marie and she was amazing. We have good conversations and she was just great overall! The girl that ran our food was Kylee and she was great too! Made sure we had everything we needed! The pickle pizza was great! I was nervous to try it but I definitely recommend

It was our first time visiting Dorsey House. We stopped on our way home from visiting a friend. It was fairly busy at 3pm, which was a surprise but also a good sign. We were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess, seated immediately by another friendly person, and our waitress Alecia B greeted us within a minute of being sat. She was friendly and genuinely seemed happy to serve us. Our drink order was promptly delivered and we ordered our entrees. We had our young daughter with us and Alecia let us know that her kid’s meal would be complementary with our entree order. That was a nice surprise!
My husband got a pizza, I ordered Bruschetta chicken, and our daughter requested a mini pizza. Everything arrived promptly and was visually pleasing. My husband is from Italy and he’s very particular about the pizza he eats. He was pleased with it, mentioning that it seemed like a “Pando’s” pizza, which is his favorite pizza place in Italy. His only complaint was the garlic flavor in the crust. My chicken was cooked perfectly, but could’ve rested a few minutes prior to being served. My daughter’s pizza was adorable and also cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back again when we’re in the area. This place is a diamond in the rough.
I should mention that I’m a personal chef and I don’t usually enjoy dining out because I’m very critical I always think I could make it better lol. In this case I may have been able to, but I was happy with the experience. I also want to mention that our server, Alecia, was one of the best servers I’ve had in a very long time. She was personable and friendly without being obtrusive, she was prompt, and she anticipated our needs ahead of time. It’s a rare quality these days

Very beautifully done design. The atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is friendly, attentive and quick to help with any needs. The food is astounding. We had steak and salmon which were both tasty and just melted in your mouth. This will definitely be my new weekend stop for dinner! Anna was our server and she did everything to make us comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

We went here a few times in 1969, back then the lot was full of Bronco’s Roadrunners, and Camaro’s. They served the worlds best chicken. Have never had chicken like it since. Right inside the door on the left was a bowling machine. Road trip, going back soon.
