We have only ever had breakfast here, but it never fails to delight us, especially with how warm and hospitable the staff is. We don’t go frequently enough for them to know who we are, but they make us feel like regulars each time with how relaxed and kind they are.
I am, by no means, a coffee connoisseur (I like coffee with my sugar), but I am always pleasantly surprised by how *not* bitter their coffee is. It has plenty of flavor, but (I’m guessing) just isn’t burnt (?)(again, not an expert, but I like that I don’t have to douse their coffee in sugar to enjoy it).
The food tastes clean and isn’t half oil like many establishments of this type. If you need more salt or pepper, or a little tobasco, those are all available on the table 🙂
They even have a doggy menu! And there is a changing table (and a singing fish ) in the bathroom 🙂

Man you looking for that whole in the wall only local go to this is that place your going love this place it was so good I order an extra order of biscuits and gravy to go home with it was that good they have really hash browns!!!!!!!!

My wife really likes this place. I do too, but I’ve been disappointed by their Biscuits and Gravy more than once. The first time I ordered it, I got a biscuit and a half. The second time, just one biscuit cut in half. These also appear to be the little biscuits from a Pillsbury Doughboy can. And the gravy isn’t anything to write about either. Everything else here is good and I’m extremely happy to be able to get a drink here with my breakfast/brunch. The service is great, even when they are busy (and this place was packed on the 4th). Sausage Egg and Cheese Sandwich is recommended. Service is exceptional!

Greetings from Texas! I came here on my trip to Colorado with family. And this place was suggested to us by one of the locals. The food was all so tasty and comforting and really filled our bellys up. The chili was so amazing. Everyone working there was so kind. It was the perfect way to start our morning on our first day in Colorado. Please keep up the spirits and we hope to return some day.

It was my first visit to Cutthroat Cafe, after a great camping weekend with my Men’s Group. We were seated right away and told by our Server Victoria that they were celebrating their 20 Year Anniversary!
The menu has a great selection of breakfast dishes, so finding something delicious is easy. I ordered Scrambled Eggs & Bacon. Our table ordered a few other dishes.
The service from Victoria was outstanding! She treated us like friends & took great care of us all.
The food came out quickly & tasted delicious. If you are looking for a great breakfast at a casual place where you are treated like family, I recommend checking out Cutthroat Cafe!

Wasn’t busy but still hard to get a second cup of coffee.. I was a server in private and corporate restaurants and bars for almost 30 years so my standards are very high.. I’ve been here 3 times in 15 years (??) Definitely hometown dining and people but the tourists love the Cutthroat too.. Warm,Cozy and Homemade food.. DEFINITELY a MUST STOP AND EAT..
