The atmosphere was incredible. The architecture and the decor set the tone beautifully. The service was subpar, avoid being seated upstairs. My steak was inedible. Picture Pokey the horse (Gumby’s side kick) cut and served. The side salads were pitiful, maybe 5 leaves, 2 cherry tomatoes and a thin slice of pepper. A party of 10 next to us had ordered, been served, and were eating by the time our order was taken. The baked brie was sour and chunky, with the saving grace being decent crackers. Empty drinks were not cleared, and our party of 4 seemed to be a burden. The manager was less than caring about customer experience, but the hostess was so kind and sweet. I had asked to pay for our entire bill (so we could leave) and to have my entree removed, and was met with hostility and “protocol”. She seemed more upset I didn’t wait until a check in (my server was non existent) to raise concern over $36 silly putty steak. I was doing my best to be discrete and kind, but ultimately cried in the parking lot from the bewilderment of such mistreatment. Avoid at all costs if you’re wanting a good experience.

Went with 6 people. They had a steak and lobster served with potatoes and vegetables special for $32. We all had drinks. I had a red sangria and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their special dinner. And the two that ordered chicken parm enjoyed theirs. Our server was also excellent. I will say the only thing I didn’t care for were the young kids seating us. We got there 5 minutes before our reservation. The one young boy said he would seat us at the exact time of our reservation even though the table was ready. This meant 6 people had to stand and block the door on a cold winter night. I thought this was a little silly but he was maybe 12 years old. Anyway other than this we enjoyed our evening.

Wonderful meal at Corkscrew. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Our server Claire was fantastic. She made great recommendations, offered suggestions on top dishes, checked in just enough but was never MIA. Made great wine suggestions to go with our meal. Highly recommend this place.

We always wanted to check this place out and finally went there for our wedding anniversary. Very pleased with experience. The food was amazing, the chef and owner came to check on everything which was very delightful. Great seeing the entire family taking care of business. Two twin boys were hosting and doing outstanding job at the young age. Will plan on coming back! Only 3 stars for the service since we did not get our water glasses refilled the entire night, had to ask multiple times for that.

Brand new soft opening of a new debonair owned concept, and the maker of the wines & beers letter Corkscrew labeled.
Justin let us through the techie system to learn how to self pour your own wines and direct your tasting and order your own food. Very millennial concept.
A nice addition to the alternatives of having a combo wine and beer place in Geneva, and it’s location off the freeway will make it an easy destination spot. Our server just didn’t know a lot and helped every customer through navigating the new techie system. Justin is a long time employee from debonair and knowledgeable about all the products.
The food was good, and the tasting well very appealing to go try things.
Couldn’t see how to add photos. Nice bar food.

We have been going to Corkscrew since Chef Ryan and his family opened and have always had a 10/10 experience. The servers and bar staff are very friendly and almost always accommodate menu substitutions for dietary needs. My wife and I had our 10 year wedding anniversary party there and recently had our 20 year there as well. They configured the private dining room and a prefix fixe menu for our guests as well as reserving our server Claire (by request) who took care of us for our 10 year party as well. The food was the best we’ve ever had, the service was excellent as always and all our family and friends had a great time. Thank you Chef Ryan, Claire and team for helping to make it a beautiful event.

Great spot for outdoor eating. Right next to the pond with beautiful ducks and sound of the fountain in the pond. Server was kind and informative. Food was delicious. Will go back again and try the other menu options.

Claire was a great server. Something that is becoming exceedingly rare.
The timing of food and service was excellent. The flow of the meal was phenomenal. Drinks, apps, salads, entree all timed quite well.
Dinner was pleasant. Steak was a weak point in the meal but didn’t take away from a great experience overall.
Will be back.
Cozy outside patio and a nice inside as well.
A few employees looked a bit suspect but I guess that’s the way it is. Awesome time!

Lovely old building, amazing service, marvelous flatbread appetizer, tragically overcooked salmon. I didn’t send the fish back, but I’m sure our server would have handled my complaint with grace. I’d still go back again.
