This has to be, by far, the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. The food is 100% “on point” as the new youngsters say this day and age. Most renovations never seen improvements of this kind, but this one will easily make back the investment made on it. And as a new customer to this place, I’m more than happy with the improvements I’m seeing.

The guy who took our order and was working front of house was a breath of fresh air. He was so joyful and seems like he loves to interact with people. I appreciated his genuine attitude and my parents also said he seems like he loves it here and they kept smiling at him. 10/10 positive vibes which we all need that pick me up right now also he checked on us multiple times and got everything we needed just a sweetheart really. I APPRECIATE YOU!

Hello, I was hoping that my favorite place would be better than how I remembered it was back in St.Louis Mo. I’m going to be very honest, first off the price was a little pricey simply because the fish was cooked too long and the corn was also cooked a bit longer and it was probably sitting in the warmer all day, tasting like it never gotten changed! For me being a Chef for years I hope Companies would do better preparing the food that they offer or just think about when they go out and eat,would I eat that or why would you send that out of your work place? I will not eat there again!

Went in during dinner rush. Shay was friendly & courteous. Clean establishment. Employees all working together. Food was fast, hot & fresh. All condiments were served. This location is hands down better than Temple, I will drive out of our way to Killeen from now on. Best believe we rang that bell upon walking out!! Keep it up Long John’s in Killeen!!

Well, the food was cold and tasted like it was leftover from lunch. We didn’t get our Cole slaw nor hush puppies. To top it off I called 3 different times and the phone just rang.
So we paid $25 for old & cold food and half wasn’t even there. SMH

I ordered food online and my husband picked it up as everyone else in the household was ill. When he got it home there was barely any food in it apparently they had forgotten to give us all our bags. I thought that was bad enough but I called up and was told I could come in and pick up the rest of the food. This was not an option we live quite a ways out and to tell you the truth after tasting what they did send I am so glad I did not have them replace the food. I did ask that they put our money back on our card and I was told they could not do that but they could give us food if we drove in. It was their mistake I felt like replacing our money on our card would be fair they did not. So I took the little we had and I split it up with everybody that’s when things went really bad. I had ordered a dish with rice and grill shrimp for my mother-in-law and I because we were feeling poorly and thought how can you go wrong with rice. Well you can go wrong with rice when we bit into it it was not cooked and then we tasted the grill shrimp I can tell you right now as I have worked in many kitchens that shrimp has been frozen for some time it was rubbery and overcooked and it had a nasty taste I gave a piece to my husky he thought it was good but then he’s eats things that we will not even talk about. Now my chorkie she loves everything I gave her a piece of shrimp she sniffed it and ran away I cannot believe the way this day is going. I will say that the coleslaw is quite tasty but everything else was either undercooked overcooked old or really extremely salty. This may sound like a vendetta but I have been eating at Long John silver’s in that location since I was a child and I have grandchildren now. They had torn down the building and put a new one in we were quite excited we loved Long John silver’s we do not anymore. The fish was extremely greasy and I’m not sure the fish oil had been changed lately. I’ve worked in many kitchens I know when the oil is old. So after being truly happy that they were back I think they can go ahead and close their doors because surely no one wants to eat food that tastes like this. And if you ask did we eat it no we did not okay we did eat the coleslaw that was quite tasty but how can you mess up coleslaw.

I was sooo excited that it was open. Went at 3 pm on a weekday so it wouldn’t be so busy. To my dissappointment the Order was wrong. Did not get green beans.fries were cold and stale. Fish crust was mushy and cole slaw was not cold. I’ll will probably give it another try but not for take out. Take outs are screwed up everywhere. The only thing right was the hushpuppies
