My family and I stopped here after a 7 hour drive. We love to support mom & pop restaurants!
The place was clean with enough seating for this small town. We were acknowledged and sat right away. Service time was normal for a sit down joint. Our server was very kind and got everything on our orders right! Kids loved their chicken tenders and fries. Son exclaimed that the BBQ sauce is “epic!”. My catfish plate took me back to my favorite place as a kid. No catfish has ever done that before! Must try it! Hubs inhaled his burger.
Thanks for the great food and service!

Great pork ribs. Really tender. Picking one up or just taking a bite of it would cause all the meat to fall off the bone. Potato salad and coleslaw were pretty good. The bbq beans were really good. Would go back if I am back in the area. Employees were really helpful and nice.

Legendary Brinkley BBQ lives up to it’s reputation! Had the chopped bbq sandwich with slaw, potato salad and beans. Simply outstanding – I especially enjoyed the savory/spicy molasses based bbq sauce. Kicking!!!

I stopped here because I know they have a fantastic waitress and good food. I had the hamburger steak with carrots and mashed potatoes with gravy, delicious roll.
Also the Apple dumpling dessert looked so good. They serve a good variety of food to choose from, we chose the plate lunch. It was really good. Thank you Jackie for being so sweet to all your customers, (and friends).
Can’t wait to see what’s on the board next week or when i get back to town. A+++

Stopped in spur of the minute. Great staff and everyone was very friendly. The catfish sandwich was one of the best things I’ve ever tried and I make it a point to travel a couple of times a year just to eat something different. Will definitely be stopping in again and I won’t be waiting very long!

The food was fine but the waitress got passive aggressive whenever we asked for what we ordered. They kept saying the menus were old so that they wouldn’t honor the meals that it said, though they did not clarify in the beginning what was and was not correct on the menu for us to be informed. We ordered dinner plates but did not get any of the sides the menu said it came with because “the cooks don’t usually do that.” In that case, they should make new menus rather than blaming the customer for asking for their order. We were shocked at how good the prices were on the menu, but that’s only because they ended up marking them all up on the final ticket & the receipt did not include any listed prices for us to check the amount they overcharged. We do know a menu item marked $6.99 resulted in a $15 meal…. Waitress was also talking bad about us to another customer as we left. Disrespectful waitress (Ally) and overpriced, mediocre food. Wouldn’t recommend.

Luckily we found this place in online search for a lunch spot. Easy access off I-40 in Brinkley AR. Food was delicious and you get a lot. Brisket didn’t need a knife, baked beans flavorful and pork was tender and juicy. Their bbq sauce had a nice kick to it, not overwhelming. We’ll definitely try to stop again our way back home to try some other dishes.

Grabbed a pulled pork sandwich while passing through on the Arkansas BBQ Trail. Pork was nicely smoked/seasoned. A tad heavy on the sauce. Possibly the best slaw I’ve had on a sandwich. It was very crisp and light, not swimming in mayo like a lot of places. I’d recommend grabbing one if you’re in the area.
