My wife had peanut butter chocolate pie. I had lemon. Each was fresh and tasted great. We ordered a red velvet cupcake to take home for tomorrow.
Our server, Tagg, was friendly and quite engaging. He welcomed us and immediately brought coffee when he found out we only came for dessert. To our surprise, he brought us a sample of garlic bread the chef was trying out. It was warm, buttery and flavorful. He was attentive to our needs the entire visit.
I highly recommend Coney McKane’s.
Starting with the Southwest egg rolls: Wow! These egg rolls were packed with great flavors! Served with a sweet salsa that will knock your socks off! A perfect appetizer to start your meal.
For the main dish, I had the Cuban sandwich with fries. The slow-cooked pulled pork was out of this world. Perfectly paired with ham and pickles. The garlic aioli on the side is something you’ll want to slather all over that ciabatta bun!
Greg was my server and he was very attentive, ensuring my Yuengling beer was always full and cold! ❄️ The building is a cool historic landmark downtown with easy parking directly north (2-hour limit). ️
A must-visit spot for delicious eats and great vibes!
What dish do you think you’ll try first?
We had a French dip that was, in my opinion, more of a pot roast sandwich. Very, very good. Jake tried the meatloaf special, which he absolutely loved and ate the leftovers the next day! We also got the Buff-ickory chicken sandwich. It was really good. Sliced chicken that had an almost blackened seasoning, then treated with a little Buffalo and bbq sauces. Their fries were really good too!
This place is well known for their sweets and desserts but we were all so stuffed we had to skip it.
All in all, a great local place, with friendly vibe and great food. Definitely on our list to go back to!
