This restaurant is one of the best sushi restaurants in LML. Tonight we dined with our parents and food did not disappoint. I ordered hamachi sashimi, spicy tuna rolls, and cucumber roll. My husband ordered Mr. Big roll and lobster party.

The food was delicious and came in generous portions, definitely worth the price. The atmosphere was also great—pretty lights on the ceiling created a warm, inviting vibe, and the soft jazz music in the background added the perfect touch. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. I visited this restaurant for the second time and had an incredibly moving and perfect dining experience. The ambiance and service were fantastic, and the rice in the sushi was absolutely flawless. Top notch service and food was good! Super lucky to have quality Japanese, namely sushi, in the lower mainland so it’s hard to give this spot a 5/5 as there are other great spots to compare to. It’s definitely a great option for both dine in and take out in the S.Surrey and White Rock area. Spacious and clean, efficient and super accommodating to kids. We’ve been several times and will be back again.

One of the best sushi places I’ve been to, it’s been recommended to me by many people and I can see why. Food is excellent, one of the best unique sushi rolls I’ve ever had, very creative, well balanced in flavours and variety in textures. Inside is very clean and well decorated. Staff are very friendly and service is so quick. It doesn’t get overwhelmingly busy but there’s a healthy amount of customers coming and going.

4.5/5. Aburi signature set review: appropriately priced, good amount of food for $32, and the option to choose the type of salmon (farmed or sockeye) is a nice touch. Aburi was good, tuna tataki decent, and tempura crispy. The green tea served in a glass pot with infuser was noticeable and not typical of sushi restaurants. Avoid their Korean Iced Coffee, woefully disappointing and I couldn’t make out anything special about it other than it’s just coffee, ice cubes, hint of sugar and cream. This is quite overpriced for something so unremarkable, you might as well walk over to a coffee shop and order a specialty drink if you’re in need of caffeine.
