Definitely worth the stop if you’re on I-85. I would even go out of my way if I have to, it’s that good!
Excellent BBQ joint, they even have a drive through if you’re in a hurry and wanna eat in the car.
Portions are very generous for the price you pay.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, very laid back place that you’d enjoy for sure.
Dining area is large so there are plenty of seats.
Don’t be hesitant to talk to other patrons there, especially the locals. They are welcoming and love to talk, just don’t bring up politics

AMAZING BISCUITS!
They have another location in High Point but this one is my favorite. Customer service is always helpful when I have visited. There is plenty of parking and drive- Thru is available. They get people through pretty quickly even on busy mornings. Dine in is available and there always very welcoming and pretty fast to get your order out . They have their homemade sauce which is not spicy but a pretty good taste . Me and family come here for breakfast and the home fries are always delicious and warm , but OMG there biscuits are the best I have ever had around here . They are Big biscuits so expect to be full by the time you walk out ! I’m a sweet Tea person and their sweet tea is delicious. Pricing is decent nothing to expensive, they also have some delicious burgers during lunch time with fries also one of my favorites. I have never tried the Bbq and sides but I always hear good comments about it , it’s next on the menu for sure ! Take out is also available. I recommend coming here for sure.

Great spot for great BBQ! Our first time and everything we had was excellent. Ribs and brisket were moist and tasty! The hot sauce is maybe the best I’ve ever had! We were just passing through traveling and got super lucky, so goood! The manager introduced himself to us and was very hospitable and energetic, the rest of the staff was wonderfully friendly too.

I got a chopped beef sandwich 1 hour before closing. The meat & fries were very good. The bun was “firm”. Not sure if thats the bun style or because it was nearly closing time. This was my first visit (passing thru on I85, found this place on Google Maps). Even after I stated “first time visitor”, the order taker conveyed I should know what I wanted. So I was slightly disappointed with the order placement…but the food (meat & gries) was good. I’ll go back again

They always accommodate us because there’s usually another 8 or 9 of us. They make it happen when we show up. Food has big portions and bring the for to your table. We go there a lot. And it’s always good. PS the banana pudding is a lil high but it’s the bomb! The 2 dudes with beards are always there an they have good attitudes. The one with the shorter beard always comes out to the lobby and asks how our food is an if we need anything kinda gives it the personal touch.. great atmosphere etc. Meatloaf, bbq, chicken it’s all good.

Just stopped by on the drive from South Carolina back to Philly. BBQ Joe’s came up on the GPS as convenient off I-85. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was so nice and friendly. The owner was great too! The food was amazing, we had the pulled pork sandwich, the hamburger steak with onions & mushrooms, Texas toast and those baked beans are the best I’ve ever had!! So reasonably priced too for the quality of food. I love BBQ and this was one of the best places!! It’s a must try! They say they have a great breakfast too and the best biscuits so I’ll have to make sure if I’m in this area again to come back….you won’t be disappointed
