Calling all ice cream lovers, “this is a “ Must Go”place!” If you love, love, great ice cream, friendly service, and a super atmosphere you will love this place. You have three choices: 1. Uncle’s Ray’s specialty ice cream 2. Yogurt, Or 3. Soft serve . The owner “meet and greet” U as you enter the ice cream parlor. Wonderful experience. Family friendly.

Some friends and I went to Uncle Ray’s back in the summer and it was a great time! While most of us were still standing in line to order our ice cream, one of our buddies already ordered and was waiting in the other line for his ice cream. We noticed gentleman with an apron came over to talk with him. After we ordered we came over to see what was going on and we quickly found it out was Dave, the son of the Uncle Ray. He quickly introduced himself to each of us and you could immediately tell that he had a very bright light about him and did his best to impact and let his light shine to all of us. We talked for the next few hours till closing time, and it was the best ice cream experience I’ve ever had. Beyond having great ice cream, amazing customer service, and several years of amazing community and relationships built, they also have a nice mini golf area that, if someone gets a hole-in-one at a specific hole, they could win anything from a free scoop of icecream to a giant sub from the nearest sub shop. I would definitely recommend going to Uncle Ray’s Dairyland, don’t leave before meeting Dave for a time you will never forget.

This is usually the only place we go to for ice cream but we’re done now. We’ve ordered the same sizes every time and they just get smaller and smaller. A medium cone now is the same size as a small and it certainly hasn’t gotten cheaper in fact it’s gotten more expensive. Not to mention the numerous times they’ve given us completely different flavors than what we’ve ordered in the bottom of the cones or cups. Very disappointing since we make a special trip to go here, not anymore they’ve lost us as customers.

Other people may complain about the cost or the portions but for me and my girlfriend’s money they hit the ball out of the park every time. We went in there to order on a Saturday and ended up getting a long conversation with Dave about customer service. He was kind enough to take us in the back of the restaurant and show us how he ran the store and how much pride he took in customer service and product quality. Sadly, we have not had a chance to go back as my girlfriend spends much time taking care of her mother at assisted care but please be assured that we will be back when time permits.

If you love ice cream or frozen yogurt I highly recommend this place. These are some pictures of my pies and ice cream cakes they have made for me over the years. I love trying something new every time I go because it’s all so good! This place is a great spot to stop and make some memories. They are all so kind here!!

I’ve been here a few times over the summer and their ice cream is some of the absolute best I’ve ever had! I work at a resturaunt in town and I had a few ladies came in telling me how excited they were about stopping by here after lunch with us to get Uncle Ray’s Peanut Butter FroYo and told me I just had to try it. I finally got the chance to today and oh my gosh they were NOT kidding! It is HEAVENLY! Tastes just like a peanut butter pie! Best FroYo Ive ever had hands down. Perfection. Delicious. I just finished it and I already want another. The girls who served us were just as sweet as the ice cream here haha. Excellent service every time.

Update review: Still very good service, very good ice cream with a wide variety of choices, unlike another local ice cream shop they are never out of stock, plus Putt Putt on premises – we have never went inside to eat as most appear to order and eat outside. All this comes at a price a very high price. TOO EXPENSIVE!! 3.5 STARS
