Finally tried this place out. And I am SO GLAD I did! Living on this side of the lake you don’t get easy access to great Mexican food in White Settlement…. WHY DID I WAIT SOOOOO LONG!!! We ordered the Alambre and the Bistec Ranchero with a side Pastor taco and the portion side was WELL WORTH the price! The taste was fantastic!! Very good flavor! The beans taste homemade! The flour tortillas are homemade! The hot sauce (green and red) is homemade! I cannot wait to have breakfast! This is definitely my new favorite little place to go! I see myself here at least once a week!! you won’t be disappointed! Just make sure and CHECK THE HOURS! They are a bit different!

Such a hidden gem! This small Mexican restaurant deserves way more love. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming—you can really tell they care about their customers. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and tasted homemade in the best way. Portions are very generous, especially for the price, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to and also tell all your friends about. I really wish more people knew about this spot—highly recommend!

Love the mural outside this place, stopped as we are passing through the area and it had such good reviews. Lady at the register was nice but ordering breakfast tacos is really frustrating. You cannot order individual breakfast tacos. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese and a potato egg and cheese and was told I could not do that and would have to order two of each so instead of just getting 2 tacos I’d have to get 4. That, or I could put all the ingredients from those two tacos I wanted into one big taco….which if I wanted that I would have asked for that initially. I think that’s a weird recommendation or option they would offer instead of just letting me order the 2 individual tacos I wanted. I have never in my life in the US or Mexico ever been to a Mexican restaurant that functions like this. I was over breakfast at that point and ordered some enchiladas. The chicken was fine but it tasted and looked like they just opened a can of red sauce and dumped it all over. It looked like straight tomato paste so I had a few bites and left the rest. Rice and beans had no flavor. My son couldn’t eat his cheese enchiladas due to the weird sauce as well. Chips were stale, salsa was fine. Overall one of the least impressive Mexican meals I’ve had in the DFW area. Unfortunately would not recommend.

This place is a gem. Friendly service and excellent food. We have only visited twice so far but it was great for breakfast and lunch. Going back tomorrow for the Huevos Ranchero. The salsa cremosa is the best ever . Oh, and the portions are huge.

You guys. This was our first time and it was sooo GOOD! Like everything was delicious. The migas chips were crunchy, the pancake was fluffy, the tacos were soo good, the beans were so flavorful, and the torta was spectacular! We have now found our new spot! I am so excited! I was craving good menudo. I am so glad I came here! 10/10 recommend! So delicious, best customer service and great music! You place your order at the counter then they will give you a number and they will bring out the food for you. They have bottled drinks as well as self serve soda station.
