The Star Ginger inside Golden 1 Center is pretty good. I got the Thai Chicken Bowl with Brown Rice. It tastes good, and the service is fast. We are there early with almost no waiting at all. I am happy they have the brown rice available for choices. We can eat at our seats, or they have some shared tables to enjoy the food.

Ordered lemongrass tofu from their food truck on UCD campus and was so incredibly disappointed. There were literally 5 pieces of the 1 inch cubes of tofu, no lemongrass flavor to speak of, tons of lettuce smothered in a gross mayonnaise based sauce. Veggie spring rolls were gummy good inside. Absolutely not worth the price and will not return.

My daughter doesn’t eat cucumbers so I asked is the service if she could put my daughters portion in my bowl. The server put “1” cucumber in my bowl. Not a good way to start the year at the Kings game when I’m paying $60 for food and drinks at her station
