Went to this restaurant last week with a crew. I ordered the new mix and match triple app. It came pretty quick and was very good. The wings were covered in sauce. Our waitress was great and the place is pretty clean and spacious.

Ordered a steak with a small side salad. Husband ordered chicken fettuccine. Had to tell the waitress to bring my salad, she was just going to bring it with the steak. Half way thru dinner I told her I would like to have a chicken quesidea to go. 20 minutes later she brings the check. I had a #10 off coupon and 2 $10 gift cards plus the cash for the difference. While she was gone I’m looking at the check. No quesidea on there. She comes back with one of my gift cards and says we can only use 1 gift card at a time…What?? That is ridiculous, and then I asked her why the quesidea wasn’t on the check. She says she never put the order in, and asks if I still want it! No, we are ready to leave now! Just dont…this is the 2nd time we have had problems with this Applebee’s. The one in Bonsack is the same distance from our house, never had any issues there. We won’t be back to the one in Rocky Mount again. Management there is bad and they just can’t get anything right.

Came in for dinner on 1/13/26 our server QUIANA P was absolutly miserable. Didn’t greet us, had an attitude the entire time, came to our table 2 times to check on us, took 15 minutes to grab a tiny box. Acted as if we were bothering her. She brought out 2 dishes, the other plates came 15 mins later after the others were done with their meal. Would not recommend, We have ate here twice the first time they had no drinks only tea! This second time really sealed the deal, dont know how they are still in business. No manager in sight, this place is a disgrace along with the employees!! Save your money and go somewhere else, hopefully this saves someone!!!!

Tonight I ate at Applebee’s in Rocky Mount, Virginia with some coworkers. I had an absolutely amazing waitress named Savannah. She was 100% attentive to our needs checking on our drinks and our food making sure that we had the best service possible. However, the manager Mikey was rather rude all that aside everything was perfect. The food that we ordered especially the quesadillas were absolutely perfect. I could not be happier with the service that we received from our waitress Savannah. She is an absolutely amazing con spirited very positive person and should be praised for it.

We had been there before and really liked it. So we went back, that was a mistake. After almost 6mn someone came to seat us. We noticed about 5 employees at a table ignoring customers. We get sat, and wait, then wait some more. After it hit 20 mower decided to leave. Thats exactly when a server showed up. She was rude immediately stating she was busy. 25 mn later food shows up. I got Alfredo, it had been under a warmer so long some became hardened drywall paste. Wife got Mac and cheese there was zero evidence of cheese. We tried pating on the app and were told we coupdnt do that, we said the app says we can and we got a stern talking to that it wasnt possible in rocky mount roanoke or Martinsville. We ate quickly and left. Won’t be back

I went here last night with my mom and our friend who is a disabled vet. The place was not very busy at the time we were there. Our waitress was very unpleasant. She seemed like we were bothering her by trying to be there. And our veteran friend takes some time to decide and the waitress’ attitude towards her was horrible. When I told the manager, he basically just said “sorry, hope you enjoy your evening.” It was just rude and not helpful at all. We were never asked if we wanted dessert, and when our friend ordered dessert, the waitress was upset again, she had already printed our check, and then had to print it again with dessert added. My mom and I ordered a meal to go for my dad who was at home. We asked for certain things, like mashed potatoes instead of fries, and toppings to be left off the burger, all that was wrong when we got home. Overall the food was good. It was hot and tasted fine, besides the messed up toppings but the service was terrible. Anytime we asked questions or tried to get her attention, it was met with attitude and unprofessionalism. Our waitress’ name was Cassidy. I didn’t get the mangers name as I didn’t see a name tag.

This was probably the worst Applebees experience i’ve ever had. The food was terrible, the waitress was stale & hardly waited on us. She took our order, brought our order out & then didn’t come back to bring refills or anything. Didn’t give us any straws. We had to ask her for everything we needed. We waved her down for refills after she’d walked past our table 4-5 times & then when we were done & had our plates stacked on the table she came & asked us how we’re doing… The food was so bland. My grandma & I got the 4 cheese Mac & cheese with the honey pepper chicken tenders on top & the “Mac & cheese” was just watery penne pasta with Alfredo sauce & mine came with a breadstick & my grandmas didn’t & the waitress said she would bring one but never even came back to our table after that. Just do better if you’re going to be a waitress.

Food was awful. I joke that the cook must of gotten the right temp on the microwave…but seriously. “Wings” came out cold or room temp, and there were only 5 at a time coming out (idk how that happens, we were only 1 out 5 tables in the whole place). My son ordered the 4 cheese Mac w honey pepper chicken and it was so bad the waitress gave us another meal for free (unfortunately that chicken was also fried to 3 deaths). The waitress was the best part of the experience as she was always refilling drinks and making sure we didn’t need anything.
