WHAT A BREAKFEST!!!!! Thats the way you start a new year off!!!!! The omelet, the smothered, covered hash browns & coffee was the BEST!!! Our server, Allie, was so helpful & very personable. She got everything right, from the greeting to the thank you see you next time. Everthing was clean, neat & tidy. We are very impressed with this location. VERY!!!!!!!

I like how it is a nonsmoking environment and the food is cooked right there. They are fast and flexible to your preference. I love how friendly and welcoming the staff are!! The shop is a little tight for larger groups but overall it was great! I love the grits!

This waffle house was awesome also. There was no wait at all, and the food was there very quickly. I have been going to this one for a while. They have long-term employees who have worked there for years. Very good service along with great attitudes. The people in the food industry always seemed to be ignored. But I know that they work hard and long hours for their paycheck.

I eat at Waffle Houses all over TX. This Waxahachie store is excellent. The wait staff do a wonderful job. Especially Allison. After only a couple of visits, she remembered me and my order, even though I had not been in a while. Impressive!

I’ve never been disappointed in a Waffle House until my visit tonight. From the moment we sat down I could tell our server had no interest in providing good service. She didn’t greet us or say a word as she was laying our silverware down. When we received our order, the waffle came out completely undercooked and doughy. It took about 6 minutes to even get someone’s attention to tell them, and they told us they would remake it. Almost 10 full minutes later they bring us another waffle and hand it to us without saying a word, and it came out almost the same way!! I also ordered 2 extra eggs and the portion was so small, it looked like they basically took my $3.50 and gave me a regular portion. Our server never actually came back to our table to check how we were, or if we needed anything. No one ever apologized or asked if everything was better. The staff should consider being more tentative to their customers, especially since the prices have gone up. I’ll be hesitant to go back to this location late at night with this staff.

This WH is the best of the best and a hidden gem in Waxahachie. The store is clean, food is always perfect with ample portions and I can tell it is ran with purpose by the manager MyEsha. I had a minor glitch with my order (this is just 1 time out of hundreds of perfect orders so no big deal!) and MyEsha personally reached out to me and made everything not only right – but BETTER than right!! I appreciate her customer skills and just all around good energy and warm smile. I will continue to use this location and give them 10 stars if I could!
