So glad that we walked into this restaurant. It was raining so we sat indoor and the ambiance was very pleasant. They provided highchair for the kid. The staff were friendly.
The food was excellent. We tried so many things but jumped right into it so I don’t even have pictures. Everything was super delicious.

Came here to chill out on our way through Auch to Toulouse. Had a drink and then we all ordered lunch. The staff adapted well to everyone’s novice French and were fairly attentive. Food was good. I had the tartare which was well seasoned and came with the egg on the side, a plus for people who might not want too much or any raw egg. Had to prompt a few times for some items but overall everything was timely

Yum, I broke down and ordered the entrecôte. With Roquefort sauce it was delicious. Pared with a Graves red, hard to beat.

It was a beautiful night and had a table outside watching the world go by, I ordered one of their burgers, which came with the most amazing french fries I’ve tasted in a long time, acid to say that I had the lemon meringue which came deconstructed and looked amazing. Great place to stop for a drink and people watch.

After a walk around the city we checked out the menu outside Le France Brasserie and were immediately ushered in by a waiter who explained the specials board. Sat down at a wonky table and were brought water and two beers as ordered…all took two minutes. We were then brought the menu and made our choices, no one came and no waiters in sight except one who was ignoring everyone and busy laying tables. After 35 minutes we’d had enough of waiting so went in to pay for our beers where there were four waiters lounging about smoking, no sign of food being prepared or cooked. There were very few tables occupied. This place left an unpleasant taste in the mouth knowing that they lure you in then keep you waiting with no explanation of when the lunch kitchen is open. The worse part is they clearly didn’t care if you waited or not. Other visitors walked away too. If you catch this eatery at a good time you may be lucky but we definitely wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Lovely setting in the main Cathedral square.
We went in without a reservation on an early February Sunday lunchtime and they kindly fitted us in, despite being very busy.
The food was a good and well prepared.
It’s a modern setting, but clearly well used by locals and has a lovely feel. It’s not just a tourist place.
