Food tasted very good. We had rolls, shrimp with rice and Soup bowl. Service was quick. Dinner Bill for 2 cost us approx. EUR 35. Its walkable distance from nearest Metro station. Since seating is close by, you will find it a bit loud.

We visited Dong Huong following the “C’est meilleur quand c’est bon” review, but the experience was a total disaster. Perhaps the reviewer visited during a quiet weekday lunch, but that’s no excuse for the incompetence we faced at 4 PM. The service was non-existent; our Phở Saté Bò Viên simply never arrived, and the Cơm Thịt Nướng Sả was so mediocre we could have made it ten times better at home.

To top it off, they even wrongly charged us for wine, requiring a manual correction. While it was eventually on the house, the lack of attention was glaring. It feels like an old family institution collapsing; perhaps a 70-year-old chef is no longer fit for the demands of a hyped-up kitchen. Compared to the sharp, consistent “New Wave” spots like Panda Panda or Gros Bao, Dong Huong is a relic resting on its laurels. The YouTube hype is a fantasy—the reality is a disorganized, 1-star disappointment. Avoid.

and we’re french and kiwi…. international baseline..so take it all!

It surprises me how the service and food taste changed in a couple of years in a good way. I had to leave everything and left the restaurant in 2023 when I visited here as the service was really bad and the food tasted terrible. But I came here with my friends and tried few different dishes. Everything was good except the deep fried spring rolls were cold. The soup tasted clean and tasty. Charcoal grilled chicken with lemongrass was great. The service was fast and easy. You should give it a try if you are craving for some Vietnamese food in Paris .

The too good to go (tgtg) pannier is perfect! A large box of beef with only 4.99! The beef is tender and the sauce is great, a little bit sweet and salty. Will definitely order again!

This place is a no frills traditional Pho place, with many possible variations. The soup is clearly homemade, you don’t feel super thirsty afterwards.

Service is fast.

It’s a no bullshit place for a good bowl of Pho for a fair price + other Vietnamese every day dishes.

I got the Bun Rieu. The soup was aromatic and flavourful. The waiter brought me out the shrimp paste for me to smell before ordering, which was a little odd. There was a lively crowd and it was generally a good atmosphere.

The Pho tai was ok, there are sauce and herbs but the broth is a bit bland (not flavorful enough) but the meat was ok
The Bun Bo Hue on the opposite, the broth is quite strong, you can taste mam ruoc on the broth but the noodles is very hard ( not soft enough)
The entree we took was Banh Beo Bi! This one was excellent!

Was very fortunate to visit their shop when it was before crowded dining time. The owner shared a lot of stories with me about their Vietnamese background and where she has travelled to. I loved their pho as the soup was so clean and healthy yet super rich in ASEAN flavours. I would definitely visit them again next time in town.

So many viet places in the area but not many serve bun rieu. I got a large which I felt was still very small, price I guess was around average. The soup base was great very flavourful but was not hot enough, came just warm and the fish cake was really really fishy, I only ate half of the fishcake. The taste was great but was not hot enough, small and fishcakes bad. Doubt I will return in a hurry. Seems popular with Japanese ppl, waitress didn’t speak any English but it’s ok u can just point.

This is the place to be to have pho in Paris! Service extremely fast, basically you order and wait for less than five minutes the dishes will be ready, however the speediness does not impact their food quality, extremely delicious! The broth has a great depth you can immediately taste that they are based on bones cooked for hours, and the herbs and lime are perfect company to the soup. The nems are crunchy and you can see that they are definitely not industrial. Highly recommend!
