OK, someone needs to point this out: THIS ‘BAR & RESTAURANT’ IS NOT OPEN.
The Chapman House has marketed for years but as of Dec 2017 has not opened to the public as a bar & restaurant. This venue does disservice to visitors and tourists who see it advertised [local brochures, Eat Local listing, Google, etc] and assume that it is an actual Bar & Restaurant, as the name implies. If Luray were a larger place, with plenty of restaurants, then who cares? But the town is small: visitors should not be misled on the dining choices available to them.
