Omg food amazing, no seasoning needed. The Manager to Assistant Manager Lydia were omg. Customer service like no other. Come here the drinks and the environment make you feel at home and family. Definitely will be back. Best date night ever.

We had some wings, fajita nachos and fajita taco salad. This is the only Mexican restaurant in EC I eat at. Today the service was lackluster. No one was at the front to deal with pickup orders. Then the food was good as usual except for the wings. They were DRY and had no flavor. Looked like they had been sitting for awhile and they just wanted to get rid of them. Disappointed. Other than that the nachos and salad were good

We went to Plaza Azteca for brunch. Luckily it was empty when we went due to arriving between meals. The menu selections were excellent. Lots of unusual appetizers and meal selections. Not your standard tacos and burritos restaurant. We got two unusual appetizers, two mixed drinks and two unusual main courses. All of the food was OUTSTANDING. Best Mexican food I have ever had in my life (and I am retired) and lots of it. We ate till we were stuffed and had lots of leftovers to take home. A lot of the restaurant menu items were NOT on the To-Go menu, so the manager (who we met – great guy) made a us a copy of the main menu for us when I told him I was normally limited to To-Go ordering due to health concerns. We spent $100 with a large tip…well worth every penny. Everything was PERFECT!!!

I was MOST IMPRESSED with the staff of this restaurant. The service was polite, quick and caring. The food was prepared quickly, was served hot, and the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. The restaurant and men’s restroom were very clean.
The manager, Francisco, came to our table and introduced himself. We had a pleasant conversation where I mentioned that I normally order take-out due to health concerns. The take-out menu is limited in selections, so Francisco went in the office and PHOTOCOPIED the main menu for us to be able to enjoy all of the unusual excellent dishes that are not available on the to-go menu.
WHO DOES THAT????
It took him several minutes to complete the task but he took the time to do so on my behalf. He and his staff have made me a loyal customer for life. I hope the company shares my posting and ensures all of their restaurants throughout the country follow the example of performance and caring exhibited by the Elizabeth City, NC restaurant. Bravo Zulu!!! (Above & Beyond)

Allan was an excellent server .99 cent beef crunchy tacos were piping hot, flavorful, and crispy, I ate every crumb of all 5 tacos. The Mango Sunrise was refreshing and potent. Food came out fast. Highly recommend.

Great food nice portions and seemed clean for a Friday night rush. Had lots to choose from vegetarian to vegan dishes and the Philly steak burrito was amazing. Our server Alan was great from suggestions to attentive service, knew what and when we needed things. Alan made the visit evenore enjoyable. We will definitely be going back in the future.

The food is good as it’s always been, but the price for chicken fried rice used to be $9.99, now it’s $19.99 in the span of a year and a half….. That’s not inflation, that’s greed. It cost DOUBLE to eat here than it did 2 years ago.
