The food was pretty good although the mango chicken and birani chicken could have both had a bit more chicken. The samosas were very tasty, full of flavor. The waiter was nice at the end, but initially rushed us through ordering which didn’t make it a pleasant dining experience.

first time trying Indian cuisine and I was thoroughly impressed. We ordered a variety of things starting with Chicken Tandoori and Vegetable Samosa. Both of them were super flavorful and the samosa had a wonderful spice to it. They brought papadum i believe is what its called with a Tamarind and other minty spicey type dip both of which were phenomenal.

For the main, I got the butter chicken which was supposed to be hot unfortunately my spice needs a break or it just wasn’t kicked up to spicy. Either way, it was super flavorful and explosive on the taste buds and well worth ordering. My niece got the Vindaloo which was really tasty with lots of delightful spices. To accompany our meal we did get the garlic naan which was a big hit for me. It was the perfect vessel for transporting the deliciousness.

I will definitely be back and am going to be indulging in the Rogan Josh and the Tikka Masala

Finally got to try this place. My friend and I split the garlic naan, garlic cauliflower, kashmiri dum aloo, and the yellow lentils. Everything was AMAZING, except the lentils, which were just okay. Our server, I forget his name, was also wonderful; friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!

This was the very first time that I have ever gotten to experience the taste of an Indian cuisine and I must say that I am a bit embarrassed that this type of food has never been familiarized with my pallet until now!!! What better of a place to enjoy the tastefulness of this day date than Indian Twist. I cannot say enough about what I loved about this restaurant from the service to the food to the Chai tea for dessert. The atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. It was not too busy but it was during the day before any dinner rush. Hands down some of the most exceptional service I have received in Tucson!!! Thank you Indian Twist. I cannot wait until the next time I eat here so that I may try another dish on your menu, as I am positively certain, will not disappoint!

I’m not sure what culinary philosophy this restaurant is following, but it appears to be “minimal effort, maximum confusion.”

I ordered the biryani, which traditionally features fragrant rice cooked to fluffy perfection. What I received instead was a bold reinterpretation: rice that was somehow both undercooked and uninspired. Each bite had the delightful texture of something that still had a promising future as… rice.

The seasoning was also fascinating. It seems the kitchen has taken a strong stance against the reckless use of salt or spices. While many Indian restaurants rely on flavor, this place bravely experiments with the concept of culinary minimalism. I kept waiting for the spices to show up, but apparently they had the night off.

To be fair, the meal did make me nostalgic—specifically for the frozen Indian meals from the supermarket. Those at least manage to cook the rice.

At this point, I have two theories: either the chef is conducting a long-term social experiment, or the stove is purely decorative. In either case, whoever is responsible for the cooking might want to consider a bold new career path that doesn’t involve rice, spices, or food in general.

On the bright side, the experience was memorable. Not in the way the restaurant probably intended, but memorable nonetheless. One plus point, a really lovely server!

We dined at Indian Twist on a Friday night during peak season and were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty. While that initially raised some concern, the experience ultimately turned out better than expected.

There were four of us in our party, and each person ordered a different entrée. I’m happy to say that everyone was satisfied with their meal. The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and met expectations across the table. Portions were reasonable, and the dishes tasted fresh and thoughtfully seasoned.

Although the lack of other diners on a busy Friday evening was noticeable, the quality of the food itself was solid and deserving of recognition. Based on our experience, Indian Twist delivered a good meal, and we would consider returning in the future.
