Had a fantastic dinner at Dishoom Manchester with my partner. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with a really unique style that feels both elegant and relaxed at the same time.
The food was outstanding. We shared a few dishes including the famous black daal and some small plates, and everything was packed with flavour. The naan was freshly made and perfect for dipping, and the portion sizes were great for sharing.

Service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, and the staff were happy to recommend dishes from the menu. The whole experience felt very welcoming and well organised despite the restaurant being quite busy.
Overall, a brilliant spot for dinner as a couple. Great food, great atmosphere, and definitely somewhere we would happily return to next time we’re in Manchester.

Superb tasty food and service. Visited mid week through the day and ordered from the lunch menu. I would love to return to try the breakfast. We had the Chicken Ruby, Lamb Biryani Pie and Black Lentil Dahl. The Naan so soft and delicate and the cocktails were very different and tasty! It was all very good, loved the service from Alberto who was attentive and we appreciated his recommendations. Great meal!

And the food… simply exquisite. Every dish is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Manchester. Highly recommended, will definitely be back!

The breakfast at Dishoom is absolutely incredible a solid 11/10! The house chai is an absolute must; it’s rich, perfectly spiced, and the perfect start to the day.

The service is always amazing, and the staff truly go out of their way to help. Every visit feels welcoming and effortless thanks to the wonderful team.

The outstanding service and consistently delicious food keep me coming back time and time again. I’ve added a few photos of the breakfast!

I’ve also been for dinner, and although it can be on the pricier side, the food is once again amazing, fantastic quality, full of flavour, and completely mouthwatering. The only area I’d maybe not give 5 starts is the atmosphere as it’s very noisy and tablets are quite close together.

Overall I highly recommend Dishoom, and in particular the Manchester location!

Looks smaller than it is. Once inside it extends to multiple rooms and.floors. Great decorations nice atmosphere and great food. I’ve seen bigger selections on menus but it was sufficient, plenty of choice.Staff were very friendly and gave an excellent service and advice. We wre a large party of 14 and.they accommodated us. Definitely book as it gets busy, people were queuing outside and as it was raining they were given umbrella s. The toilets were down several flights of stairs and I’m not sure about disabled access.
Nice food and atmosphere, recommend.

We visited Dishoom for the first time on a date night, and it was such a lovely experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully styled a little on the darker side, but the interior design is stunning and creates a really cosy atmosphere.

I don’t usually eat Indian food as I’m always worried it might be too spicy, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything we had was very mild, full of flavour, and served in generous portions.

The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. When we first sat down, we felt a bit overwhelmed by the size of the menu, but our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to us, which made choosing so much easier.

For starters, we had the veggie samosas, which were delicious. We then shared a Chicken Kathi Roll a big portion and full of flavour. For my main, I had the Murgh Malai, which was not spicy at all and paired perfectly with a garlic naan and yogurt sauces. It was absolutely delicious and easily my favourite dish of the night. My partner had the Chicken Berry Britannia and loved it just as much. Big up to sunny’s star-tini.

The portions were so generous that we didn’t have room for dessert, but we’ll definitely be back to try more because we had such a wonderful time and the food was outstanding. This was genuinely the first time in my life that I’ve truly enjoyed Indian food!

I don’t remember the name of our waiter, but he made our first visit even more special with his kindness and helpfulness. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to return.

Breakfast was nice. Not a big fan of the vegan sausages or the scrambled tofu. Definitely prefer main meals here over the breakfast. Staff are lovely, atmosphere is also fab.

Really great Indian restaurant in the heart of downtown Manchester. Definitely worth booking in advance, arrived Tuesday evening with work colleagues and had a 1hr wait, and restaurant and bar were packed.

If you’re interested in more high end, Indian cuisine, this is the restaurant for you.
