After a Comedy Show at Tarrytown Music Hall, my Husband and I decided to find a quick bite to eat. The Taco Project caught our eye as it’s October and the restaurant was decorated tastefully for Fall. Once inside, the whole set up was very cool. Ordering was simple. Tons of options. Prices were good. We ordered our food and sat at the tall tables by the window. The ambience of the candles and fall decor made our crisp October date night perfect. The food came fast and they kindly brought it to us. My Husband got the steak tacos, I got the chicken rice bowl. It was delicious. And the guacamole & chips were amazing. Im very picky about my guacamole and this was a hit with me. There was plenty of food..definitely worth the price too. There was plenty of seating, the bathroom was very clean, and every employee we interacted with was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be stopping in again, the next time we visit the Tarrytown / Sleepy Hollow area!

Had an amazing time at The Taco Project in Tarrytown! Everything was so good — from the Palomas and Mojitos to the Spicy Mango and Passion Fruit Margaritas. We loved the Buffalo Wings, Tuna Tostadas, and Nachos. The tacos were the best — Birria, El Pastor, and Shrimp, full of flavor. Finished with Flan and one of the best Tres Leches ever. Big thanks to Julian for being so friendly and helping us with the menu!

The sweet plantains and chicken bowl were amazingly delicious. Good chicken tender and juicy rich flavor. The bowl was warm and flaky adding to the great taste. The plantains were a grade A example of what you want all plantains to taste like, sweet but not artificialy so while being soft and tender without being mushy.

This place is fantastic! Their birria is some of the best I’ve tried. Big fan of their salmon taco which was monthly taco. Cute shop. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Plus they had GF options that were very tasty.

Delicious tacos served on homemade corn tortillas! I got the vegetarian tacos which were incredible. Full of vegetables and satisfying. My parents tried the chicken enchiladas which was a special and tacos al pastor. The salsa was fresh and tasty. The staff was great here and were very attentive as we dined. You order at the counter so I was not expecting as much table service as we received. I would recommend coming here for a quick and tasty bite.
