There’s some great food in Antioch and I’ve never had an issue with safety. Tash Tea is awesome. Just went last weekend for first time.

Tashtea Cafe ❤️I had an amazing experience at this Kurdish breakfast restaurant! Everything—from the atmosphere to the service—felt welcoming and authentic. The food was absolutely delicious: fresh breads, rich cheeses, flavorful dips, perfectly brewed tea, and traditional Kurdish dishes that were full of warmth and comfort.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. Portions were generous and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and the love put into every dish.

If you’re looking for a unique, hearty, and memorable breakfast experience, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back! Tashtea cafe ❤️

Amazing. The food. The service. The coffee. The kick ass seating areas.

This place opened up last year and we kept saying we would head in. I am so glad we did.

I had never had Turkish food before – the sausage was bold, the cheese gooey and nutty, eggs perfectly cooked and the bagel was light, fluffy and sesame packed.

The coffee was killer, made in a traditional and pit.

Here’s the Breakdown:

Fantastic food with great service in a comfortable, beautiful setting +5 stars.

I will for sure go back.

We had the breakfast for two a Kurdish Coffee for my wife and a Latte for me. Everything was amazing! Only suggestions I would make are maybe having some small dedicated spoons and knives for each of the jams, etc and the bread was so good with everything we wish more of it had been included. Still terrific – highly recommend and will be back!

In Turkey, breakfast is a big deal. It’s not just a quick croissant and coffee before starting the day, it’s a full experience. Breakfast means slowing down, sitting at a table, and sharing a spread made up of many small dishes: different kinds of cheese, olives, fresh bread, little jars of jam, spreads, and thoughtfully prepared plates. It’s about abundance, warmth, and connection.

That’s why Tashtea immediately stood out to me. They’ve managed to bring the true Turkish/Kurdish breakfast culture to Nashville in the most authentic and complete way. Nothing felt rushed or watered down, it felt like a real Turkish/Kurdish breakfast, exactly the way it’s meant to be.

I also learned that “Tashtea” means breakfast in Kurdish, which I thought was such a beautiful and meaningful detail. It shows how much thought and care went into even the name of the place, and it adds a deeper cultural layer to the entire experience.

I came here with a friend, and from the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. The space was spotless and extremely well maintained. You can tell they truly care about cleanliness and creating a comfortable environment for their guests.

The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive without being overbearing. They were happy to explain the menu, offer suggestions, and made us feel truly welcome from start to finish. That kind of genuine hospitality makes all the difference.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The variety on the table was impressive, and every single item tasted amazing. We kept saying how good everything was not just “good,” but genuinely exceptional.

The atmosphere tied everything together perfectly. The music was thoughtfully chosen, relaxing, and added so much to the vibe without overpowering conversation. It felt cozy, inviting, and calm, the kind of place where you want to linger and enjoy your time.

Overall, Tashtea exceeded every expectation. The food, the service, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, and the cultural authenticity all came together beautifully. It’s clear that a lot of love and intention goes into this place. If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable breakfast experience in Nashville, this spot is an absolute must. I will definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone.

WONDERFUL! I found out about this restaurant from an Instagram reel someone made. Tashtea looked amazing so I knew I wanted to check it out! It lived up to all of the hype for sure!

Everything on the menu looked incredible so it was hard to decide what to get, but the TashTea Breakfast for 2 seemed like a perfect choice to get to have a wide variety of items! We were warned that it might be a bit longer than usual because the kitchen was a tad backed up. Farach (may have spelled his name wrong), our waiter was so kind and offered us one of his favorite bread items while we waited since we were super hungry. It was incredible! Just simple bread (shaped like a bagel but flakey and buttery) with butter but it was soooo delicious and was a perfect bite to hold us over until the food came!

The wait actually wasn’t crazy long and we had tea and coffee to enjoy as we waited! Once the food came it was delicious!

We will absolutely be back and plan to bring friends who visit to check it out too!

Fabulous food, fun atmosphere, and very friendly staff!

We had the best experience at TashTea this week! Everything was so delicious. We had the TashTea for 2 with the menemen and the potato görek. We also got a pot of tea. I will definitely be returning to try the Kurdish coffee and to eat again. And I’ll be telling everyone about it!

What an incredible experience. The hospitality, food, and drinks were the best I’ve had in TN. I live in Antioch, and I am kicking myself that I’ve gone 14 months without stopping in. I am so glad I did today!

The Kurdish Coffee Caffeinated is the best coffee I’ve had. It’s so smooth and strong. Definitely worth getting!

We also got the TashTea for 2 and it was the perfect sampling of sweet and savory items – a good overview of their fresh and delicious foods.

Farac, the manager, was super informative, sharing about their cuisine and inviting us to return.

And, oh, I will.

Amazing coffee, delicious food, great service and nice atmosphere. I’m excited to come here many more times and try everything on the menu. A friend and I tried the TashTea for 2 with Menemen and Cheese Borek, Kuymak, and Kurdish coffee. Everything was excellent. TashTea is certainly deserving of the 5 star rating it has, which is especially impressive with over 1000 reviews. If you’re at all into Turkish/Kurdish food, please do yourself a favor and come here.

Hard to explain what i think since I have mix feelings on the place. I don’t have any issues with it and perhaps I hope I can encourage people to try the place. These meals are completely different from the American culture and understandably so not everyone would like it. I did enjoyed it very much but having olives in general for a meal isn’t for me lol.
Their coffe, top notch. Loved it, everything else great except for the bread. I wish it was something different and not store bought.
Anyways, place was great and please give it a try!
