Phenomenal experience! The menu is thoughtful, the ingredients are high quality, & I cannot rave more about the service. Mauro, our server, went above & beyond to make us feel welcome, not rushed, & the recommendations were exceptional. The other staff members were incredibly kind and hospitable. I did not take a photo of the fried zucchini, but GET THE FRIEND ZUCCHINI! We also ordered an aperol spritz, rigatoni carbonara, the malfadine con pesto, tiramisu, & espresso martini. Cannot wait to return! ❤️

Top tier service on a snowy evening in NYC. The wine, food and vibe was perfect and our server was from Italy. It was incredibly nice being able to get such personal recommendations and opinions about the food. I’d definitely be keen on being a regular here. Great spot!

Wow! What an amazing dinner. Delicious perfectly prepared and presented meals. There was five of us and we were all impressed. We are already telling other friends. I am coming back. And the main course portions were much larger than expected. Fabulous ! And the wine selection , outstanding!

I thought I would give a shout out to this authentic neighborhood restaurant serving well-prepared Italian food including their own fresh pasta. The food was tasty, the service was kind and professional and the space nicely designed. Prices are reasonable for New York and my meal came to $77 for one including tip. I had a starter, a main pasta and a glass of wine. The restaurant business in NYC is not easy and Ulivo offers a good dining experience.

We loved the calamari pasta. It was amazing very good service and pretty much all the staff are from Italy. That’s when you know it’s authentic and delicious. I’m pretentious and welcoming vibe, which is rare for New York. Food was so DeliciousI forgot to take pictures.

I’ve come here with my husband and my mom, and both times the food was impeccable. The calamari, incredible. The tiramisu? To die for. The food is fresh and the portions are good. Cannot recommend enough!

This is a great restaurant to entertain important guests visiting New York. It is an excellent place to meet the standards of those who have been to high-end restaurants in Europe or overseas, as well as gourmet enthusiasts. I was happy to leave a good impression on the guests with the luxurious atmosphere and taste. Although it was a bit pricier than nearby restaurants, the portion size was much larger than a single serving, making it ideal for sharing. You can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine reminiscent of what you tasted in Italy.

Cute neighborhood mom and pop type Italian spot. Casual warm vibes with homemade pastas and standard fare but made with care. It’s not super fancy so resys are easy. it’s comfort food and reasonably priced. Verdict: will return for quiet family style dinners.

Had dinner at Ulivo on a trip to NYC for Spring Break. Definitely glad we made a reservation ahead of time as the place was packed upon arrival. The restaurant is dark but lively. The service was quick and food came out hot and timely. We had wine, the spaghetti pomodoro and a squash ravioli that was the special. The food was phenomenal and the service great. The atmosphere is a little loud and lively — we had trouble hearing each other and having a conversation so just a heads up if you prefer a more intimate/quiet type of place. But the pasta is delightful and we very much enjoyed the food.
