I’ve been here a few times now, and even though some of the staff greets you with the enthusiasm of a teenager being told to clean their room. I don’t even care. Still, the food is great. Huge portions, great prices, and a 20% military discount!
If you don’t like spicy, be careful with some dishes. I’m pretty sure I saw a dragon in the kitchen preparing them. You’ve been warned! To survive the heat, I recommend the Thai tea or ginger tea; they are perfection.
The portions are so huge I have to share with my husband, which is the only thing keeping me from needing a wheelbarrow to get to the car.
Those dish is a ‘Chef’s Kiss’: The Mango Fish is a flavor explosion. The Tamarind Duck is 10/10, spot on. The Tom Kha with the seafood/coconut milk is a hug I didn’t know I needed. And the Gyoza and Spring Rolls, they’re my favorite.
I’ve never actually seen the dessert menu because I’m always at maximum capacity by the end, but I’ll keep trying! The restaurant is clean, and despite the ‘chilly’ greeting, this is hands-down my favorite Thai spot in the area.

The restaurant was clean, bright, and very well decorated. The food was excellent, I got mussaman curry and my partner got catfish. Both dishes were delicious with just the right amount of spice. The employees were generous, kind, and attentive. The prices are a bit steep but you can easily make 2-3 meals out of every dish. I will definitely return 🙂

Personally, I’ve traveled all over Thailand and parts of Lao, and I can tell you this is not a typical Thai restaurant. This restaurant serves food that you might find in a small village or Homestay. The staff are Thai and you can use Thai language to order food if you know the names of the dishes. The flavor was rich and authentic.

My experience here both times has been terrible. The first time I went, I had the pad woon sen. It tasted delicious at first, but I was disappointed that the waitress did not tell me that The dish was very spicy. Also, it doesn’t say that anywhere on the menu it does not say that it’s very spicy. Secondly, the other worst thing about the dish was that I found a hair in my dish in the middle of eating it. A very long hair. I did not make a fuss. I know it happens. I paid for my meal and I left. It has been a few months since And I decided to do a red redemption round, but Take out.
I ordered pad Thai lobster and I am very disappointed in the picture online it shows the lobster tail in the dish. I was not expecting that when I receive my food that the lobster tail would be hollow like all the meat is out of the tail. You’ll find little bits of it mixed into the noodles, but it is completely overcooked and I was more interested and a fluffy juicy piece of lobster tail then I was to have a little bit chopped up. I feel like I got cheated. The quality of the noodles overall was lacking. The flavor was decent, but the noodles were overcooked. I just wasted $29. I’m completely disappointed and I will not return.

After trying out all of the Thai restaurants in Greensboro and surrounding areas, this is our favorite by far! No matter the dish we try, it comes out flavorful, beautiful, and perfectly spiced. We had the Yellow curry, Pad Thai, and Lamb Basil, which were all 10/10. Service is great and everyone is friendly and very efficient. We recommend Thai Square to all of our friends and family!

Food was delicious! Everything I tried was good (we had a large group). Restaurant was a little loud/ hard to talk. Service was good but our waitress was a little intense.

Thai Square delivers consistent flavor and quality. Ordered takeout for dinner and everything was fresh, well seasoned, and packaged well. The balance of spice and flavor was on point. Order was ready on time and service was smooth. A reliable go-to for Thai cuisine.

Solid meal! I’ve had better Thai food but everything was pretty good. I didn’t really like the dumplings. The service was fast which was great because I was in a hurry. Downside was they said it was a holiday and only served the dinner menu which felt like the lunch menu for twice the price.

1st visit at Thai Square. Service was excellent. Food was great! And the atmosphere was peaceful for a Saturday afternoon lunch.
The fresh rolls with shrimp were good. The Pad Thai was really good and the Tom Yum Hot Pot was amazing!
This is definitely a hidden gem in Greensboro NC. My fam & I will definitely return. Make sure to visit when you are in the Greensboro area!

Good food spiced to your request. The main courses were brought out almost immediately after the soup, so if you prefer more leisurely pacing, order accordingly. I suggest requesting prig nam pla, a Thai condiment that’s not on the menu, but it will add flavor and spice to your dish, and endear you to your server.
