Great food! Good portions! Veal soup was only a little bland but still good, mix grill platter was excellent, serbian coffee was perfect (not bitter or sour. Didn’t need anything added).
Parking was a little limited. I had to go behind the building to find more parking.

I was staying across the street at a hotel and ran in for a to go order because it was late & convenient. So glad I did! I ordered the chicken breasts with veggies, as my side instead of fries, and a salad. The food was to die for… so good! They gave me a very fresh baked, still warm, loaf of bread too! It was the best bread I have ever had. However they prepared those veggies, they were incredible. I was so impressed with the atmosphere, the bread, & all the incredible flavors. I will defiantly be back if I am through there again. The only push back I have is I was the only one sitting at the bar and still had to get the bartender’s attention to place an order. She was wiping counters, visiting with staff, and started to put dishes away instead of greeting me and giving me a menu. Once I ordered, I wanted a drink while I waited and had to get her attention again for that. She was friendly, just more task focused instead of customer focused. Lastly, she forgot to put my salad in the bag so I didn’t get all of my food order… but, honestly, the food was SO good all that can be forgiven.

Try the PLATTER! Absolutely delicious!!!!
We tried the Serbian platter for $35 it came with a ton of serbian meat which was savory and delicious. It was served with raw onions and a milky cream spread which went so well with the bread and cuts of meat. It came with a fresh loaf of bread right out of the oven. Crunchy exterior and soft interior.
We also ordered the grilled veggies $7 which were grilled to perfection and went well with the meat platter. We also tried their Serbian coffee for $4.
The total was $51 which was absolutely worth it!!! Everything was tasty and fresh and great portions!
The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because they ran out of pork neck which was part of the Serbian platter and we were looking forward to trying it. They did give us a different type of meat but I wish they would have let us know in advance before placing the order in the kitchen.
The venue itself is beautiful, they have a large dining space and an indoor and outdoor patio and indoor bar. Beautiful.
The server did a great job of explaining the menu since it was our first time eating there and trying this cuisine.
Definitely would return if in the area! The galloping ghost, largest arcade in the world, is located a few feet away. So cool! Plenty of parking.

Authentic Balkan Serbian cuisine,food was so tasty.Great atmosphere,service wasn’t bad girl that served us was really nice,polite and friendly just she was easy to forget order. We ordered Shopska salad twice and
still at the end she didn’t bring it then she tried to charge us for it (maybe she was still on training). No matter what food is so yummy,ambience is nice and service was good I would come to Skadarliya again.

Drove past this restaurant many of times I tried it last night for the 1st time and the food was amazing. I was greeted at the door by Nick . The staff were very friendly . Definitely going back .

Love this place. The service and food are always fantastic. They’ve recently started offering group photography, and the photos turned out amazing. My niece and nephew from Minnesota always ask to come here when they visit, and now I have beautiful pictures of them to display at home. Sure, the photos might feel like an extra purchase, but honestly, if I take them myself they just sit on my phone. This way, I finally have great shots of my niece and nephew that I can actually put up in my home.

I stopped in today for the first time. My initial impression was very modern and meticulously clean. My son ordered from here the past 5 years for our Serbian Christmas celebration and every time the food was delicious! So, I had time to stop in and ask a couple questions before placing my order for Saturday. The young woman was very hospitable and patient explaining and helping us to understand the menu.
I walked out with a mixed grill meat platter and a daily special of fish dinner. The portions are generous and everything was delicious! I was informed that they have live entertainment on Saturday evenings and they also offer Sunday brunch for $30.
I have committed to come for the brunch and I will bring my family, my neighbors and friends. It is a very cozy and comfortable place, good for a good meal and A nice place to bring a date.

With regret, I have to say that this place no longer has anything in common with the restaurant that once stood out as a top destination for Balkan cuisine.
The table was not cleaned from the previous guests, and the waitress with long hair was extremely inattentive, more focused on chatting with her coworkers than taking care of customers. I waited far too long for a simple drink, and when it finally arrived, it was served in a dirty glass with clearly visible lipstick marks absolutely unacceptable.
On top of that, the food has clearly lost its quality and no longer lives up to the reputation this restaurant once had.
The lack of basic hygiene and professionalism is disappointing. I would definitely not return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Large cute Serbian restaurant with an outdoor patio. Everything was delicious. I would definitely go back again. It has a bit of a night club atmosphere. Music was a little loud to have a conversation. We were in the bar area so there may have been quiet er areas you could sit in. Parking is valet only.
