Our servers were, again, absolutely amazing and so very helpful with the menu and helping us decide what to get. We filled up on some to-go items to take home to PEI….. Some of the may not have made the journey lol
The key lime pie was the best I’ve ever had, and I could eat their butter tart eclairs every single day. Might be back up in April… Can’t wait
If I lived near burlington, I would be here every single day! The service and atmosphere was top-notch – the lady that guided us through the numerous types of desserts and baked goods at the front counter was very lovely and such a big help. Everything looked so good, my sister-in-law and I both ended up purchasing a pack of six treats each while we waited for our table.
We were there right at lunch time, so the wait was about 15 minutes but it was well worth it!
You have the option to scan the barcode at your table which allows you to order food for your meal as well as to go treats. It also allows you to pay your bill right away, so there’s no waiting once the meal is done.
The food with outstanding… It was such a hard choice to pick something. The side salad with the dressing was to die for, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better raspberry lemonade. The chicken was so moist that it didn’t need anything with it.
The side vegetables were amazing as well, I never knew I would like Brussel sprouts!
The desserts outstanding, and it was so hard to pick what to take home. I will definitely be back, thank you for an amazing experience!
We ordered quite a few things (because how could we resist?) the burger was perfect, the chicken confit sandwich was packed with flavour, and the French onion soup was rich and comforting. The breakfast sandwich is a must, and the strawberry olive oil cake? Out of this world. We also had a dulce de leche ball (I’ll have to go back just to remember the name) so good! And there was also a braised chicken leg dish that was delicious too.
Our server, Vanessa, was absolutely lovely, warm, attentive, and just added to the whole experience. The place does get busy, but the wait isn’t long and it’s completely worth it. Can’t recommend this spot enough. We’ll definitely be back!
It’s a first come first serve policy – despite a busy day we were able to get in within 15 minutes.
Once seated you order through your phone. Service was reasonably prompt but since you lack a dedicated server it’s hard to pin someone down and have personable experience (feels like you are at a train station with how quickly the servers were running around) – they had forgotten our pastries/mimosa for about 15 minutes after the meal was done and had to get the rest to go.
The quiche was extremely fresh – the ratatouille toast was well balanced, eggs Benedict was nice but lacked salt somewhat.
Do not get a full plate of frites – it will be too much for one person – get half half with salad.
Mimosa was excellent with freshly squeezed juice as the base.
Highly recommend this spot for brunch.
