Stunning view with excellent service makes it
worth a drive. Of course, Chuckanut Drive itself is known for an excellent driving course offering majestic views of the ocean.
It is a small restaurant with a romantic vibe. You don’t have to enjoy the raw oysters as there are plenty of dishes without them. The service is excellent. We ordered a special lingcod and house-smoked salmon sandwich. The lingcod was delicious with only light seasoning to bring out the freshness of the fish. The smoked salmon was too salty for me.

Husband and I went dinner here for our 23rd anniversary. We had an amazing and delightful experienced. The food was delicious. We had reservation. They sat us in the ground floor and only the two of us. It was very romantic.

The most beautiful restaurant close to our home! It is dining in a cozy old fashioned way with a heavenly view. We kept coming back and were always amazed by the place, the view, the atmosphere, the foods and the service. Even the simplest salad was made to its perfection! They have a great wine selection and oysters from the region!

We came here especially for the oysters and were not disappointed! Tried the day’s fresh selection: Totten Inlet, Swinomish Petites, Miyagi, Shigoku, Buckley Bay, and Kumamoto.

Favorites: Swinomish Petites & Kumamoto – sweet, delicate, and beautifully balanced.
The others leaned brinier with a stronger “taste of the sea,” perfect for those who enjoy bolder flavors.

We also ordered the Butternut Squash & Chanterelles soup, which was silky and slightly sweet — the perfect balance to the oysters’ salinity. Paired with a glass of white wine and the ocean breeze, it was simply perfect.

The restaurant itself is a classic Northwest lodge style: stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an outdoor terrace wrapped in greenery with sweeping cliffside ocean views. At sunset, it’s absolutely breathtaking .

Sitting on the terrace, watching the sun paint the ocean gold while the salty sea breeze carried the aroma of oysters, I was suddenly reminded of a dinner once in Malibu, perched above the Pacific.

It made me realize — what stays with you isn’t just a restaurant, but the rare feeling of stepping outside the everyday and sharing a meal with the sea and sky. From LA to WA, the sense of romance feels timeless.

Exceptional experience! My sister had never had an oyster before, so what better place to pull over and try one? Cameron was amazing and guided her through her first TWO oysters. He was super kind and knowledgeable and made the entire experience that much better. He also suggested we try the smoked salmon napoleon appetizer and that, too, was incredible. The views are outstanding and the service was superb. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful evening.
Lorrian was or Waitress she was so kind and very descriptive with information on the menu.
Wow is all I have to say for the food. I had the duck breast and it was incredible. My husband had the steak and lobster and it was perfectly cooked.
The gnocchi made me have a flash back when my grandmother cooked it.
What a delicious and wonderful evening.
I just have to say they have a phenomenal chef like incredible.

My only say would be the music does not match the wonderful atmosphere (Jack Johnson several songs and playing 60s oldies music, again like his music, but wrong environment)
The French music was nice, but my only thing was the music was not enjoyable for the atmosphere.

The deserts are amazing here! The gran Marnier cheesecake and the espresso cream brule and they were literally some of the best deserts I have ever eaten! The view is incredible a great place to watch the sunset. The service here is spot on and fine dining worthy for sure! The other food here is nothing to write home about especially for the price, and could use some improvements.. I had a steak and the oysters for appetizer, the oysters had too much stuff on them and completely eliminated the actual flavor of the oyster, I couldn’t tell if they were any good because of all the sauce on them. The steak was small and slightly overcooked. Neither the entrees or the appetizers were anything special and definitely overpriced for what they were.. The other entrees at the table were the white prawns which looked like the best thing on the menu, and some scallops which were pretty good. However, I would absolutely come here for deserts again! The overall experience was great though, I would definitely return for the service, ambiance and deserts alone..

A little worn around the edges with old fashioned sensibility. How many places use white table cloths anymore? If you like oysters-raw or fried-this is the place for you. The fresh Washington king salmon is also excellent. An extensive wine list. The service was great. We were greeted promptly and escorted to a window table. Our server was attentive. The view of Samish Bay is terrific. A destination not to be missed. Reservations required.
