I stopped by El Pollo Cris Cris and it totally delivered on flavor. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned really well — not bland at all. You can tell it’s made fresh because it comes out hot and crunchy every time.
The vibe is casual and no-frills, which I actually like. It feels like a true neighborhood spot where people come for good food, not fancy décor. The portions are solid for the price, and the service is quick and straightforward. If you’re craving crispy, satisfying chicken without spending a ton, this place definitely hits the spot.

On Tuesdays, my family and I will get the pollo asado special which is buy one whole chicken get half for free and it comes with a side order of beans rice and french fries . Also comes with jalapeños & sautéed onions, salsa, y tortillas. This food was enough to feed 5-6 people at my house with possible left overs. The Tuesday special is a really good value for family meals on a budget.
I love getting their torta milanesa de pollo it’s so filling, and can be share-able!!!! Comes with fries and a side of jalapeño and onions.
We’ve also tried their chicken wings, buffalo style with a bone and they’re pretty good. We ended up eating them all with no complaints at home.
We’ve also ordered a hamburger and it comes with fries, jalapeño, and sautéed onions and a can of Coke. We really enjoyed the burger gave us some nostalgic feeling of an old-school burger that isn’t complicated.
We’re also huge fans of their fries on google they say they are called Stealth Fries” or “Lamb Weston Colossal Crisp,” fries which are like the crunchy coating outside of the fry. There was one time that they had just regular plain fries and it did not hit, but I think they had just ran out of their regular fries.
Overall, I really love the food and it’s value. I recommend getting the Pollo asado y tortas.
I can’t wait to try more stuff.
Note: the space is kind of small so there might be days where there’s enough space to sit and other days where you might have to take your order to go cause there’s nowhere to sit.

Im so sad to be posting this. I understand things change with time, but wow I was not expecting things to be this bad 🙁 (55$ wasted) Their ADs are so good on tik tok and it reminded me of how popping they were at their location next to discount mall. I also came here a few years ago and it was great! Today we ordered carne in su jugo (it’s always a hit or miss at whatever restaurant) it had zero flavor and I never seen carne en su jugo with HOT DOGS ?! I got myself a basic torta de asada.. can’t tell if the cheese tasted funny or the beans like they sat too long. Como sabor remojado. My son got chicken nugget, fries, rice.. honestly the only good thing were the fries. That has never changed. You guys are doing amazing advertising, the location I see went through great remodeling but the quality of the food needs to step it up. Or maybe just stick to the chicken 🙁 we left everything but the fries

Got locked out of my car right down the road from this place hungry as can be. I showed up within 10 minutes of closing time(which I hate doing) and ordered two tacos. They were fast, polite and it came with a huge order of fries for only 10 bucks! Maybe they gave me extra so as to not waste? Either way they really helped me night me not so miserable. Will be coming again!

Excellent service and huge portions. I had the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce dinner platter. The mole sauce was a bit on the sweeter side but it was very tasty. The hubby had the Chicken fajitas dinner platter. I’ve driven by this place many times and I’m glad we stopped. Was about $35.00 including 2 sodas plus tax. Was initially put off by the fries on the platter but, they tasted Awsome. Is it a tiny bit pricey….yes but, isn’t every eatery during Covid. This place is local to me and I plan to go back.

Delicious! Great flavor on everything I’ve tried so far. Portions are HUGE. Can eat twice with each plate which makes it totally worth your money. I had food catered for my birthday and it was a complete success!! The one thing I REALLY don’t like is that you can’t hear self think because the music is so freaking LOUD on the weekends!! It’s horrible. Can’t enjoy my meal. Music is fine but turn it down a few notches.
