As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I love checkers. I think they have the best fast food fries around and they’re always crispy (unlike the big 3 near me whose fries never are), I think they have really well flavored chicken tenders, they have the best slushies in my opinion and the burgers are usually pretty solid too. I always try to go to a checkers when I come to Florida and this one did not disappoint. Couldn’t even eat the food for like 20-30 minutes after I got it and it actually held up very well.

We decided to stop here to grab a quick bite to eat. If you ever ask yourself can you go wrong with a basic checkers burger the answer is YES. We ordered the baconzilla combo and two checker burgers. I still don’t know what I paid $15 for. You be the judge. This is the baconzilla.

My husband ordered this restaurant after work and arrived in the drive thru around 10 pm on August 18th, looking to buy dinner for the two of us. Upon arrival, he sat waiting for over thirty consecutive minutes while he could actively see and hear employees talking in the back and cars began to pile up behind him in a line, also awaiting their turn. We never got our food due to this negligence, and I imagine no one else in line that night was patient enough to wait for every single employee to finish their conversation to do their job either.

On August 20 I went to get something to eat at this checkers location. I wanted to order their four dollar unbeatable deal and upsize it to a large when I got to the register the cashier handed me a medium size drink telling me that her manager directed her to give me that size of beverage When I ordered a large offset I didn’t wanna argue I got my food and drove away when I went to reaching for some fries I realized that it was a small and not a large, so I went back to get a full refund after the ordeal when I went the cashier took my receipt and threw it in the trash and handing me back by cash. I went to the car to call corporate office and realize that I needed that receipt so I went back and asked for it, and she gave me attitude because she couldn’t find the order and she had to dig into the trash where she threw my receipt. I contacted the corporate office spoke with the Jeremy who issued me a coupon but sent it to the wrong email I called the next day spoke to a Marco, who was able to give me the coupon, but when I took it to a location that wasn’t the one that I originally went to, they weren’t able to process the coupon which Was a five dollar credit. I spoke to Daniel and explained my situation to where he then offered me a $10 credit for my frustration. I had yet to receive it and followed up. I spoke to a Kendry Who is unable to see any notes of anyone that I had spoken to prior he transferred me over to Jeremy who I had the original call with on August 20 where Jeremy who held the title as supervisor stated that no one can issue a $10 credit and proceeded to offer me a five dollar credit that I had to access through downloading the checkers app. This situation has left such a bad taste in my mouth for a franchise that I used to frequent at a lot since my childhood because of this ordeal I will never return back because no one is being held accountable from the original store to the corporate office No one should have to go through this just to order fast food…
