Despite the negative reviews I decided to go anyway. The negative reviews are correct. I love Zaxby’s. I feel their wings are better than some of the competition but that’s speaking from a Mississippi Delta and Memphis TN point of view. This Zaxby’s dropped the ball. For that matter, I wonder if they even had the ball in their hands. When you pay over $20 for a meal you expect tender and juicy wings and crispy and flavorful fries. This didn’t happen at this location. The “chef” needs to back up on the cook time of the wings. They were basically inedible. Way to hard and too old. The fries were like they were from the day before. They added ranch to the order but when we got to the window and received the order and asked for an extra ranch we were told they don’t have ranch. Knowing that beforehand would have saved me money. The tea was wonderful though. I know good help is hard to find but young people, taking pride in any job you do is honorable. This was my first meal in my visit to Pensacola and i must say it was a poor representation of the expectation.

I am literally waiting in the line and haven’t even gotten my food yet, but the young black man that works the window was very polite and had excellent customer service along with people skills. The brother’s name was EJ. He didn’t do any backflips or sing Billie Jean for me But he did his job with pride, Was charismatic or also showing respect. Haven’t been to Zaxby’s years but when people work with such a positive attitude like that, ill be damned if i don’t return.

Hadn’t been in awhile and now I remember. Drive thru was slammed, so we went inside where it was still busy, but they did the best they could. Food took a minute, and it was still cold when I got home (5 min). Wings were cooked hard which I liked, but my chicken sandwich was disappointing.

The chicken was over cooked and had a rubbery texture. The toast had an off taste. Kinda like the fake buttery spread they put on it was rancid. The fries were meh! Not worth $10 for 3 tenders with fries and a Coke Zero. I wouldn’t eat here twice.

The pictures are from 2 separate days but both very disappointing coming from one of my favorite fast food places. The food was cold both times like it was sitting under a heat lamp to cook it. I also used to get larger portions on the finger basket but now all 6 of the chicken fingers are the size of what 1 used to be. Glad I never have to eat here again waste of 30 dollars so disappointed 🙁

We have never gotten bad food here. But the employees/service is so out of whack. The employees will look lost and confused. To go orders have waited 15+ minutes for their order, when it was sitting on the counter. There is no idea where orders are (they could’ve been complete on the shelf, but no one knows and you could wait for a order that was actually finished). The staff are always nice and apologetic. But it is everytime, there is just something wrong with team and their cohesivness that just doesn’t jive.

I was at Zaxby’s on Creighton today for lunch. I ordered a salad. As soon as I opened the container a huge fly flies out of the lettuce. Here is another fly on top of the vegetable egg roll as you can see.

I really hate giving negative reviews, but this Zaxby’s is the ABSOLUTE WORST!
The young lady at the drive through ALWAYS has an attitude, is very rude, and ALWAYS says she’s been on the clock since 8am, no matter what time we get there.
We have tried to joke with her, tried to encourage her but her attitude is just nasty! I know it’s hard to find people to work, but my goodness there needs to be something done to either relieve the pressure or change the staff.
The food is mid and the window lady is stressed and/or depressed…. she apparently hates her job. I even offered to pray for her.
My hope is that the owner of this location would do something about it.
Also it’s 30 mins before closing and they barely had any food or drinks.

I got the Zaxby salad with the wontons and eggroll thinking it would be fun. The first picture is the burnt, oily, old eggroll that came with the salad. I went back through the drive in and asked for a replacement and have them the reason, with the person telling me they just got a new batch done (second picture) – still burned, and soaked with old oil. The salad itself I wouldn’t even eat because of the wilted lettuce and the absence of any chicken (see picture) , but I am on my lunch hour. I was charged over $15 for this CRAP – DON’T EAT HERE! It’s was my first time and I’ll NEVER return.
