Cool spot.
Got a blue cheese burger was good bacon needed to be cooked more for my liking but it was still good.
Nice selection of craft beers.
Service was very good initially. After we got our drinks they disappeared tho. No refills had to go find someone to pay my bill after sitting around and waiting for several minutes.
Understaffing? Dunno. First time there.
I’d try it again but I’m not in a hurry. There are a lot of options in the area.

I just went here to celebrate my Aunt & Uncle’s 50th wedding anniversary. We had Hannah as our waitress & she did fantastic!! She was very attentive as people joined us & made sure that they got something to drink. She ran her little tail off!! Due to the distance from my place I’m nit sure if I’ll come back. However, if it was closer to me I definitely would!! The only negative thing I can think about is the noise level. Other than that this place was amazing!!

Had great meal this evening while setting at bar with family as it was busy! First family dinner at bar as usually get table. We figured let’s just eat at the bar.
Had the Big Walnut Salad (split it), Buffalo Chicken Pizza (best we ever had!), and Steak and Shrimp. Juicy Lucy to drink and a Stellar Cosmo!! Our server was excellent, she was polite, busy yet attentive to us.

You can make reservations online, which I love. They offer catering as well as group reservations and private parties. They have a great area for them. The dining room is open and there’s a large L shaped bar with seating all around it.
Menu definitely has something for everyone and has a great selection.
High chairs and booster seats are available and they have a kids menu. Booths and table seating. Nice patio with lots of tables under the roof so those are shaded. You can play Keno if you’re into that and they have a a touch tunes juke box too. The food was delicious. We both had chicken sandwiches and they were very tender and juicy! They were cooked perfectly. They have happy hour from 3pm to 7pm and also offer specials! We can’t wait to come back and work our way through the menu!

Came here and ordered at the bar. EVERYONE checked on me at LEAST once whenever they passed by. They were VERY attentive and sweet, loved talking to the staff, all the girls were great.
Drinks were amazing and I caught them at the end of happy hour (3pm-7pm) so my drinks were CHEAP!!! Food was also amazing!!! Well done “Big Walnut Grill Burger” was perfect (and im picky with meat!) and fries were delicious (and served a hefty amount too!)

12/28/2025 Ordered a take out order. We got a reuben, half rack of ribs and a chop salad. First issue was with the staff. Nobody wanted to help me. When I asked where to pick up a to go order I was told “over there” with no specifics. The next person just said the person will be back in a minute. Finally the bartender came back and she was very nice and checked me out. Got home only to find the reuben was sliced meat instead of shaved and no flavor at all. The half rack of bbq ribs had no sauce on them. They were very tough with no flavor. They seemed as if they had been sitting in an oven too long. The fries were good and the salad was okay. I would not recommend coming here. Spent $55.00 to not be able to eat the meal.

Decided to check out Big Walnut Grill today. Ordered the Hog Stack, it comes with fries. Also ordered some Baked Beans. Pretty big bar and restaurant in the Big Walnut Plaza. Plenty of tvs and tables and booths. My waitress was Lindsey. She was phenomenal. Checked in numerous times. On to the food The Hog Stack was a disaster for me, went to pick it up and the whole bottom was soaked. The pork was flavorless, you could tell the onion straws had been sitting as they weren’t warm at all. The fries are frozen seasoned fries which were just okay. The star of the show surprisingly was the Baked Beans. They were super flavorful. Should another bowl of them. Even though this was a miss, I think I definitely wii be back.

Nice place,ran onto rhis establishment after visiting Wonder Lights at Hartford fair grounds. The service was great, food was good. Late dinner and has a few flat screens for watching sports. Over all nice place!
