“Did they even season this rice?” is not a question I’ve asked myself at a Chipotle before (not even salt!), nor was my other internal reaction, “What in the half scoop of guac was that?” You know how they tap the spoon to knock off what would otherwise be a reasonable helping of guacamole? They did that, but with a tilted spoon, and gave me about two tablespoons.

It wasn’t worth it to complain. Lesson learned.

Want good Chipotle, especially when they raise their prices again? The one in Sandy has been reliable to date.

My rating is compared to other Chipotle locations.

This place used to be amazing . There is a lot of workers and one poor guy making the food while the others pretending to take the garbage out, even know the garbage is empty. This places started to stink and the wait for food is really long, food is loosing flavor. I was told that if I want chicken I have to wait almost 30 min. The area for the drinks is dirty. Quality of service is going down I hope owner/ manager can do something or may they come and help.

Not usually the petty/passive food review type but my friend recently got food poisoning from this location last Saturday afternoon. (1/10/26) I watched the chef approach with the undercooked steak he placed in the tin previous to the guy working the line throwing it on his burrito he ordered. I warned him of the meats red exterior, and he shrugged and decided to gamble. Whether it’s a lack of training or an understaffed location this isn’t acceptable and extremely disappointing. (every other chipotle I’ve been to in Utah has been great/satisfactory) If you can’t cook meat to the right temperature in a slow restaurant setting (it was literally dead) I would hope and pray for the trajectory of that chef’s future career(s) considering he’s only one tier above being homeless. This is the only food review I’ve ever written.

Echoing the comments from others. I have had a couple of bad experiences recently but today was by for the worst. The worker was extremely bothered every time I asked to add something to my bowl. The sour cream was low (but still had some) and she said they ran out. I asked if they had more and she said yes but the line was too long (3 people) to get more. She then told me they were out of the salad dressing although I saw some in the fridge. I don’t need the staff to be my best friend but I don’t want to pay for meals there if they refuse to give me supplies they have in stock because it’s an inconvenience. Will likely be only going to the state street location from now on.

If you’re not ready to spend 20 minutes for your order don’t use the app for pick up. Recommend just ordering at the counter. Food is consistent otherwise.

*Update* food to 1 star. We bit into our burritos and neither were what we ordered. They were a mash up of both burritos which made them both inedible (dietary restrictions). Sucked having to wait only to receive what we didn’t order.

Trying to get help (through the app) is a nightmare. Bottom line order at the counter watch them make it, if you leave with your biggest complaint being portions consider yourself lucky. As for me I now remember why my last order prior to this was in 2023.

Edit: seems to have turned a corner. Last two months have been great.

I used to love this place but recently it’s definitely been going downhill. The staff is always extremely rushed and acts like all the customers are bothering them, and they give by far the smallest portions of any chipotle I’ve ever been to. I even asked for more meat and they refused unless I paid double protein even though I got half a serving of chicken. Go to the one on 4th south, much friendlier people and they don’t skimp on the portion sizes.

I actively avoid this Chipotle and drive further to the one on State St. This locations service is terrible, with unproductive workers and extremely long wait times. Also, you can rely on them to be out of many items (chips, carne asada, guac, etc.). Love Chipotle, but not this location.

The service here has started to go downhill. Especially it feels like later in the evenings. Ordered online and waited 30 minutes after I got there for a quesadilla and chips. I would recommend just going in line and not ordering online. The store wasn’t even busy.

Check your online order before you leave and NEVER get it delivered to you. It is almost guaranteed to be half portions. Also check your guacamole before you go, the quality at this location is really inconsistent and sometimes it’s straight up rotten.
Edit: just did a pickup order and my bowl was missing – extra rice, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, red salsa, fresh salsa, corn salsa. It’s literally written on the sticker, how is the service this bad?

Was there at 11:20. One other person in line in front of me… no one came to help us but 2 employees were sitting down and eating and just let us stand there for 5 mins before going to get someone to help us. The guy in front of me ordered a bowl and a cheese quesadilla. They made him the bowl and then when he asked about the quesadilla she looked at him like she didn’t want to put her gloves back on and make his quesadilla so he said it was fine. My rice was undercooked and the chicken was dry.
