My Wife has frequented this restaurant in Leesburg, VA for over 30 years. Now I know why this is a “don’t miss” every time she is near this restaurant.
Our server’s name is Stephanie and she made sure we wanted for nothing! Our glasses were always full, plenty of salsas, anything we asked for was delivered. This beautiful, young woman obviously cares about what she’s doing and the people she’s doing it for.
You may look at the menu and say, “Yeah, I’ve had that before”, but if you haven’t eaten it at Anita’s, you haven’t. It tastes better here. The seasoned “red rice” is the best I’ve had. Their green salsas on a lot of their dishes is special and worth ordering. Everything was served hot and in abundance. Could not finish the food I was served.
One important thing to remember at Anita’s, if it’s 2 PM and you’re craving breakfast, it’s available! Just ask for the breakfast menu!
Great experience for food and drink. The special are some you should look for, you won’t be sorry!

had the chance to get one burrito and it was delicious, they welcome you with totopos and a delicious salsa for you to get started.
Ordered one “Burrito Loco” and it was amazing, the sauces were good and the meat was juicy and tender.

Worst company for catering. Ordered our food and were told and confirmed that it would be enough for 40+ people. I only received one tray of 25 soft shell taco and a tray of hard shell. I was told that I would have enough to offer 40+ people the option of either hard or soft. For spending $50 on each tray is ridiculous.

Stopped on the way to Harpers Ferry to have a family sit down brunch. The food and atmosphere and staff were great !! We had various breakfast burritos and a breakfast special shared by the kids and Grandma !! We ate like kings and the food was amazing. I always love the chips and salsa too.

I’ve been here several times in the past. It was always hit or miss if they got the order correct. This time, the order was correct. The food came out hot and fresh. The waiter was polite and answered any questions that I had. The waiter also came by often and checked on me. I would most definitely recommend coming to Anita’s restaurant for breakfast.

Warning- do not eat here. They serve old red meat (ground beef, fajita meat). The 1st time it happened I thought it was a bad batch, but it happened again. My husband was smart- we got the delivery, he looked at his fajitas, was uncertain, tasted it and threw it away. I had ground beef tacos so it was somewhat disguised in sauces so I ate it. Two days later, my stomach has just settled after black poop. They should care enough to throw away old meat. Never again.

Kid-Approved!

My son enjoyed Anita‘s through the school lunch program. He raves about it. That’s what drew us in the door.

I enjoyed the red chili marinated Mexican sausage burrito smothered with green chili sauce. It was absolutely amazing!

The kids enjoyed the french fries and one actually said that Anita’s has the best French fries she’s ever tasted.

The taco salad (chicken) was also a hit.

Always amazing! The staff is wonderful and the food is always top notch. One of my absolute favorite places to order from. Breakfast burritos are bussin bussin (<-- son insisted) and the Pupusas are really good too. Exceptional customer service and hospitality.

Food was not authentic and wasn’t appetizing at all. The beef on my plate was what tasted like the chile that goes on chile cheese dogs.rice had no flavor. And the plantains were still raw inside. As you can see this is how our plates looked when we left. Waitress seen our plates were still full and didn’t care to ask. I’m not really one to complain but this was a disappointment.

Delicious!!! From the moment we walked in, Michelle was so welcoming. We were so lucky to have her serve us. If you want to taste New Mexico on the East Coast, try Anita’s. It’s our second time there, and it was just as delicious. My only regret is that I forgot about ordering the Sopapillas. Thank you, Michelle, for being a wonderful server. Anita’s you have to try their food!!
