Came here for a 2pm birthday lunch and found the place to be clean, neatly artistic in a sea shanty theme. I had heard great things, so I was hopeful, but let down. When you order a steak, you’d expect that to be the star, right? Well, the steak was aggressively seasoned in the sear but nowhere else. Very bland and very disappointing. They had fresh horse radish, which was great, and excellent hush puppies. The service was pretty mediocre too. Overall, I was very disappointed and I won’t be coming back any time soon.

Never been there before were seated right away but the table had a very sticky feel to it even after cleaning it.. move to a different table which was a little better.
Wasn’t impressed with the tartar sauce tasted like it was made with miracle whip.
The clam strips were really good and the fried scallops and jumbo shrimp
Never had hush puppies before, wasn’t impressed with those.
We did have a very attentive waitress who was great.
Overall wasn’t really impressed but then again we are from Connecticut where are seafood restaurants are top shelf.

Great seafood place! Food portions are amazing. The food was fresh and piping hot. The staff was friendly, the place was clean including the bathrooms. The service was excellent. There was little to no wait time and we were seated pretty quickly.

We were invited here for my birthday dinner by our friends on a Friday night. The food arrived in good time and was delicious and the service was great! My friend even arranged for a surprise birthday song which they sang with great gusto and excitement and presented me with a piece of cake she had picked out. It was big enough for 3 of us to each get some of it and was so sweet and yummy! We were able to get our meals cooked to order just the way we wanted it and there was plenty for everyone!

Food is usually always really good. Have been a couple of times where it wasn’t the best. Service is usually always pretty fast to get seated- sometimes there is a little wait but that’s because it is their busy hours, but it is usually not too long of a wait considering. The atmosphere is mostly good- overall I think the music is a little loud fir my taste considering the amount of people and trying to talk over the music and hear each other.

Great little seafood place. I had the popcorn shrimp platter. It was delicious and the portions were huge. I feel as if I got my moneys worth here. The decor is what you would expect at a seafood place. Our waitress was nice and the place looked clean. Very positive experience.

Delicious food and quite a bit of it for your money. Decent prices. I reccomend the first mate’s plate. Delicious catfish and shrimp. Our waitress was awesome but the woman checking us out was lifeless. The tea with lemon was wonderful. I would go back for the food.

This place was absolutely the best, the food was delicious portions were more then enough. They were very accommodating of our special needs. The staff was very professional and very friendly, as well as great time management. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if your in the area.

The food is nothing short of atrocious! I had bad bouts with my stomach all the next day and so did hubby. A relative of mine there told me she was just there for the family gathering and wouldn’t eat because her stylist got food poisoning the week before. We had the blackened and Cajun salmon and salad. I won’t ever go again. Captain Tom’s…do better for crying out loud! Blah
