Parking lot is the first impression numerous large deep holes, thought I damaged my car.
The food was great our waitress. Hope was very nice and spot on with her service.
Stopped a week or so later foods great waitress, very friendly. Potholes are still there.

We’re back ordered two specials for under nine dollars. They were good waitress was great. But the potholes are still there. Looks like they tried to repair them. I’m thinking about starting a GoFundMe page so they can pay for the potholes. What do you think?

We don’t have a Bob Evans locally so we’re super excited to stop in! We basically ordered Thanksgiving dinner! The ham was sooo good! The stuffing was a little gummy rather than fluffy, but still tasty.

We stopped for dinner last night around 7. It looked like the restaurant was closed, maybe one other car in the parking lot. That should of warned us. We went in. There was a couple leaving so that left us the only dinners. A nice young man took our order. A different sound lady brought our drinks, and the waiting game began. After what seemed like 30 minutes our dinner arrived being served by a completely different lady. My turkey dinner was Luke warm to say the least. I eat cold carrots as a snack not with a turkey dinner, the mashed potatoes, dressing, and turkey were Luke warm not very appetizing. My husband’s double hamburger was messing but tasted alright. He said the French fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. This was a stopped on our journey through West Virginia so we will not be coming back, nor would we want to. Icing on the cake we had to ask for our bill as there was no one waiting on us. When the server arrived to give us our bill she said sorry there’s a lot going on? Hm we’re the only ones dinning so what was so important to ignore us?

Food quality is consistently good. Very friendly servers. I’ve only eaten here for breakfast and they do offer mimosas. Pretty accommodating with swapping items and assistance with dietary restrictions.

Update – the GM, Lindsey, called to apologize profusely and make it right. Though we did have a bad experience, that type of leadership and going out of her way to make up for it speaks volume. We really do appreciate that and is worth updating the review.
We sat down and waited for our waitress to come to the table. And waited. And waited. Then went up to the hostess to ask about our waitress, since all the other tables were being serviced. She went and got a waitress who loudly said “that’s not my table” and walked away, so they tried to give it to another waitress who also refused. So we waited a bit longer and no one else ever came over. The hostess was very nice, but not getting service is ridiculous. We were told by the front of the house that no one there wants to work

Our visits to Bob Evans have declined over the years. This used to be our go-to when we were traveling. This experience will most likely be our last. We had the 2 can dine for $22.99. The dressing was another $5 per plate. This became $32.99. The turkey didn’t seem right, and the carrots were mushy and seemed like they were left overs from nights past. Our server Chloe did a great job servicing us. However, the overall experience was not good. 5 star for the service, everything else was not to standard. This includes the not so clean chairs. Bob Evans, you need to up your game, or you will not survive the next several years.

Only had one server working. Took 15 minutes to come and get our order, after I went said something. Our server waited on tables that got there after us before getting our order . Hostess brought regulars their drinks without asking us if we would like anything. Will not be going back to that particular one

When I come visit my family we always stop at a bob evans. This particular one was a mess. There is an ant trap (pictured) with ants in it at our table… some duct tape hanging off the walls, the host did not know what was going on…. The server was however pleasant. If the dining area was this bad I can only imagine the kitchen. The place needs help

Recently Nov 9th went to Bob Evans. We usually like to visit Bob Evans while on vacation but always read the reviews before going to each location. We have enjoyed going to B.Evans over the years.
Well i see the POT HOLES are still there in the lot after how many months now? Also while there , we were not told they were totally out of all chicken meals after we had already ordered drinks and then gave our food order. how the hell can a restaurant that serves mainly chicken be totally out of it?
Oh well we walked out after finding out and i can now see why there were so many bad reviews recently of this place. Many Bob Evans are struggling i have noticed as i travel quite a bit through out many states.
They have changed their menu a bit for the better but unless they get their act together with service and availability of food offered , this location sure looks it won’t be lasting long especially in Bridgeport/Clarksburg where there is so many restaurants that offer the same food offerings.
Get your act together or you will be out of business soon.
