The wife has raved about their chicken salad for years. I must confess, I kinda regret not getting to one of their north county locations sooner. Top notch. This one has treats and premade sandwiches, but they do not do made to order. There side dishes are good. Their treats look lovely and reportedly are very good as well.
They are also in the Government Complex cafeteria. Get there before by 11:30 or after 12:30. But they have made to order sandwiches. And a pretzel roll that goes great with anything.

I became extremely concerned when I went online to the Butterfingers website to order and it did not list or show the Chocolate Hazelnut Buttercream Cake. I took a chance and called anyway in person and the nice girl told me it was available to order which I did. It was fantastic as always and in my opinion literally the best cake from any bakery in Northwest Indiana. So moist and chocolatey!! Every bite is pure joy. Thank You so much for making such as delicious cake and on time for pickup when I requested. Butterfingers is the Best!!

We love the chocolate hazelnut birthday cake and have been getting two a year in our household for birthdays for years. Now as we get our first in 2025, the price, which has steadlily been increasing has now jumped up to almost $47.00 and looks a bit smaller than years ago. This will be my last ever from here as other area bakeries are less. Then to suggest a $10.00 tip at checkout on top of that for a cake we are ourselves picking up is ludicrous. Prices are no longer worth coming here. Goodbye

Simple and great. It was filling and the sandwiches are served on fresh croissants. Choose an optional dessert in lieu of a bag of kettle chips (not an option offered anymore.) Salads are plentiful and diverse as well as very good (not always a great selection.) Tuna Salad, Chicken Salad and a cold-cut with cheese were offered today. Seating is simple and enough for a space this size. Parking is just off the North side of the building. Desserts are the specialty and I enjoyed the double chocolate brownie. They do multiple cakes and cookies. Veggie and seafood options are also available.
