I usually go to the Palos Heights location, but was in the area so went here. Definitely NOT the same beef sandwich at all! Meat was dried out (even though it was dipped) and sweet peppers were on the hard side and not sweet at all. Moving forward will continue to go to the one in Palos.

Food is decent… Only thing I don’t like is that when you phone order and they tell you food will be ready in 5 min. It won’t be. They put the fries or other food in when you arrive to pickup your order. I get what’s behind it.. I guess some people don’t show up and food goes to waste but I think they should keep an phone number log of people that order and actually show up to pick their food up. If you tell me to be there in 10 min I just want to walk in , pay and move on, not wait another 15 min.. parking lot is way too small for this.

Classic, Chicago beef sandwich shop. Small and bustling. Got a beef sandwich with red sauce, sweet peppers and provolone –WET– to go.
Sandwich was bussing. It was wet and definitely needed to be eaten with fork and knife. The bread was barely together and it reminded me of a soup almost, like the bread texture in a French onion soup. SUPER TASTY! I am 5’3″ and ate a whole 6″ –and it was a little too much food. I probably could have done well with 4in if they had that option.
We waited for maybe 10-15min for our order. It was Sunday around 2pm.

Really easy pick up and the food is tasty! Highly recommend if you want something between Portillos and McDonald’s. Will definitely eat here again.

Had the beef and sausage combo meal.
This location on Kedzie is slowly going downhill. The bread is soft, and not crusty like it should be, and fall apart. The red sauce is to pasty, and has a dull flavor. Fries are still good.
Place is getting dirty and run down, not being kept up, or cleaned.
The prices $ keep going up here, almost $19.00 for a soda a d sandwich, overpriced.

I ordered Beef/Gravy, Bread and peppers for a small gathering. . I have ordered it many times over the years and this was first time I was disappointed in the rolls. I always order an extra loaf , because it’s usually so fresh and delicious . I would say it was day old for sure, possibly 2 days. Just not good at all!!!
