3 minutes away from Big Bear Lake Camplands.
Dimly lit local bar, no drafts that I saw.
Most of the wing sauces are hand and homemade. Met Mike the sauce guy at the bar, incredible guy with a knack for sauces
Owner/bartender has a flair for customer service and has the ability to talk to all people from all walks of life.
Food is incredible. Portions are generous.
I have no photos of the food as it was eaten quickly with vigor.
Chili-dog: $2.50ish
They make a beanless chili-dog chili in house that rivals skyline chili and other Coney Island style chili-dog institutions.
Bacon cheeseburger: 8$
Decently sized, nearly swallowed my fist eating it.
Onion rings: 5$
Again decently sized portion, simply incredible with some of mikes sauces.
“Whimpy” : 9$
It’s an incredibly HOT BOLOGNA sandwich with homegrown “Hungarian white peppers”. It will make you sweat. The flavor of the peppers are tremendous!
Do yourself a favor and follow the signs and your stomach to this unsung culinary landmark.

The chicken wings here are absolutely amazing! They came out hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The flavor was spot on, and the sauce had just the right balance of heat and sweetness. You can tell they use fresh ingredients because the wings were meaty and never greasy.
The portion size was generous for the price. Service was friendly and fast, and our bartender even gave us recommendations on which sauces to pair with the wings (the mild and sweet heat were standouts!).
If you’re a wing lover, this is definitely a spot you don’t want to miss. I’ll be coming back for these wings again and again!
